Renner was then quickly flown out to be taken to a nearby hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Balaam continued to describe the details of his accident, noting that investigators were still talking to witnesses and filling in any gaps in the information they had so far.<\/p>\n<p>The car that had been stranded, Balaam said, was Renner\u2019s personal vehicle \u2014 \u201cwhich was being driven by a family member.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He had managed to tow the vehicle from the snow, but once he got it free, he stepped out of the Snowcat to talk to his family member \u2014 after which the Snowcat began to roll.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn an effort to stop the rolling PistenBully, Mr. Renner tries to get back in the driver\u2019s seat of the PistenBully. Based on our investigation, it\u2019s at this point that Mr. Renner is run over by the PistenBully,\u201d He went on.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt this point in the investigation we do not believe Mr. Renner was impaired at all, and we believe this is a tragic accident,\u201d Balaam concluded.\u00a0\u201cThe investigation is ongoing, however, we do not suspect any foul play. I\u2019ll repeat that: We do not suspect any foul play.
