When?&#8217;\u201d co-host Hoda Kotb replied, as she shared Roker would be back on set this Friday, January 6.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is his place,\u201d she added. \u201cHe\u2019ll be in his seat, right where he belongs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNot the same without Al,\u201d Guthrie added. \u201cOur sunshine will be coming back Friday morning.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Roker finally updated his status after December&#8217;s second hospitalization, calling it an &#8220;amen.&#8221; \u201ctough slog,\u201d Thank you to all of your support and love, and we thank them.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cListen, it\u2019s been a tough slog,\u201d Roker shared. \u201cI\u2019m not going to deny this. It\u2019s been the hardest one yet, and you know I\u2019ve had my share of surgeries.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt gives you [a] profound sense of gratitude for this outpouring of prayers and thanks,\u201d He added. \u201cI\u2019m a very fortunate person.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/today-show-host-al-roker-shares-update-with-fans-after-being-hospitalized-for-major-blood-clots\">weather personality<\/a>\u00a0also admitted that four weeks in the hospital was hard on his body and said he wasn\u2019t ready to return to the set yet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou lose a certain amount of muscle mass for every week you\u2019re in the hospital, and I was in the hospital for four weeks,\u201d Roker explained. \u201cIt\u2019s just a certain amount of weakness. I\u2019m doing physical therapy every day, occupational therapy. I\u2019ve got to just get my strength back.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Roker shared photos on Instagram to celebrate Thanksgiving when he was released from the hospital following a blood clot in one of his legs \u201csent some clots into\u201d his lungs.<\/p>\n<p>He was, however. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/today-show-host-al-roker-rushed-back-to-hospital-after-being-released-in-time-for-thanksgiving\">rushed<\/a> After becoming ill again, he was able to transport himself via ambulance to the hospital.
