Stock markets will continue to plummet.<\/p>\n<p>This poll comes amid troubling signs regarding the U.S. Economy: Home sales <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/latest-news\/home-sales-tumble-for-tenth-straight-month-as-americans-face-mortgage-rate-surge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/latest-news\/home-sales-tumble-for-tenth-straight-month-as-americans-face-mortgage-rate-surge\/&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1672851727325000&#038;usg=AOvVaw1tBdTUwHI8_La8Zg9u3kRf\">fell<\/a> The 10th consecutive December was marked by household wealth and the 10th consecutive month of December <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/latest-news\/report-household-wealth-plummeted-by-13-5-trillion-this-year\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/latest-news\/report-household-wealth-plummeted-by-13-5-trillion-this-year\/&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1672851727325000&#038;usg=AOvVaw07qIPgGtyrBqhfmahe3n8E\">plummeted<\/a> By $13.5 Trillion in 2022<\/p>\n<p>Voters&#8217; pessimism reaches to politics with 90% anticipating domestic conflict and 85% foreseeing a resurgence of international tension. &#8220;troubled year with much international discord.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The negative American views of the economy have reduced President Joe Biden&#8217;s approval rating. He has been criticized for his record-high levels of inflation and excessive deficit spending. A December <em>Wall Street Journal<\/em> Poll <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/latest-news\/poll-majority-of-americans-believe-bidens-economy-will-get-even-worse-in-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/latest-news\/poll-majority-of-americans-believe-bidens-economy-will-get-even-worse-in-2023\/&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1672851727325000&#038;usg=AOvVaw3tqPfpgciwOOyBP9Rzt8q2\">found<\/a> Respondents believe that the economy is healthy at 65 percent &#8220;headed in the wrong direction.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Gallup shows that while Republicans and independents tend to be pessimistic about the prospects of the country in the new year&#8217;s future, Democrats are more optimistic. <a href=\"https:\/\/news.gallup.com\/poll\/467528\/americans-largely-pessimistic-prospects-2023.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/news.gallup.com\/poll\/467528\/americans-largely-pessimistic-prospects-2023.aspx&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1672851727325000&#038;usg=AOvVaw2dLTvH3fGeFY26LduxXmEm\">found<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p><em>Majorities of Democrats see five positive developments in 2023.
