We also want to thank Coach Taylor and the Bengals for everything they\u2019ve done.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The family concluded their statement by asking for prayers for Damar. They promised to keep you updated as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p>During Monday night\u2019s game, Hamlin collapsed on the field after tackling Bengals wideout Tee Higgins.\u00a0Before Hamlin was taken to the hospital, emergency personnel performed CPR. The game was canceled.<\/p>\n<p>The Bills\u2019 organization released a statement that the safety suffered a \u201ccardiac arrest.\u201d<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">After a hit in our match against the Bengals, Damar Hamelin experienced cardiac arrest. His heartbeat was reestablished and he was taken to the UC Medical Center to receive further treatment and testing.
