The majority of the pool is currently being excavated. Once the whole site has been unearthed, it will be open to the public either in pieces or all at once. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/category\/science\/archaeology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The archeological project<\/a> The excavation of the entire pool will take several years. The construction unfolded during the reign of King Hezekia \u00a0as cited in the Bible in the Book of Kings II,\u00a020:20, according to the two Israeli agencies and the City of David Foundation.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to estimates, the Pool of Siloam passed through many stages of construction and reached the size of 1\u00bc acres.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;When I think about this news, I think back to another phrase in the Hebrew Bible. \u2018My ears have heard of you, but now my eyes have seen you,'&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/person\/m\/johnnie-moore\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rev. The\u00a0Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA), under supervision of professors Roni Reich and Eli Shukron, launched a survey.
