Parents are losing their right to decide how to raise children. My new legislation, <a href=\"https:\/\/republicans-edlabor.house.gov\/news\/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=408723\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Parental Right to Protect Act<\/a>, will ensure parents aren\u2019t expelled from their child\u2019s life because they disagree with the left\u2019s radical ideas on sex.<\/p>\n<p>For adolescents who believe they were wrongly sex born, more medical facilities offer life-altering, nonreversible medical intervention. Parents are opposed to experimental surgery and hormonal interventions as they fear that these treatments could cause irreparable emotional and physical harm to their kids.<\/p>\n<p>Chloe Cole was 13 when she began using puberty blocking drugs. She had a double mastectomy at age 15. She decided at 16 to have a double mastectomy. Chloe was born earlier this year. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/detransitioned-teen-hold-gender-affirming-surgeons-accountable\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">launched<\/a> An <a href=\"https:\/\/detransunited.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">organization<\/a> Along with others who are sorry to have received so-called \u201cgender-affirming care.\u201d This group now warns others about the potential dangers of medical intervention.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s no wonder countries such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/uk-62335665\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">United Kingdom<\/a>  <a href=\"https:\/\/segm.org\/Americas-approach-to-transgender-health-care\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sweden<\/a> Recognizing the inherent risks, they have since stopped using this experimental approach with children. Too bad the Biden administration isn\u2019t following suit.<\/p>\n<p>Biden&#8217;s administration and congressional Democrats have a plan to implement a radical agenda at schools and in the homes that is often directly opposed to parents. Just this week, NBC News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/news\/us-news\/federal-investigation-school-library-books-texas-rcna61087\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reported<\/a> The \u201cEducation Department has opened what appears to be the first-of-its-kind investigation into Granbury Independent School District after it pulled library books dealing with sexuality and gender.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> Parents Leave <\/p>\n<p>Schools across the country are pushing children\u2019s books and curricula in the classroom to normalize transgender ideology. Parents are often denied access to school curricula when they ask. One mother in Rhode Island was successful. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/rhode-island-mother-billed-74k-trying-review-school-curriculum-stonewalling-parents\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">billed<\/a> $74,000 after filing a Freedom of Information Act request to gain access to her daughter\u2019s school curriculum.<\/p>\n<p>Schools across the country have employed various strategies to silence parents. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ohioschoolboards.org\/sites\/default\/files\/uploads\/OSBAPublicParticipationBoardMeetingsFactSheet.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">barring<\/a> Parents are not allowed to attend public meetings. Pennsylvania&#8217;s school board is currently being <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ifs.org\/cases\/marshall-v-amuso\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sued<\/a> For a pattern of violating the First Amendment rights for parents, which includes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ifs.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/PennsburySchoolBoard.mp4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cutting<\/a> Parents can be heard yelling at their children during a sentence.<\/p>\n<p>Education bureaucrats sometimes keep parents in the dark about their opposition to transgender medical interventions. An Ohio school district <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/ohio-school-district-tells-teachers-they-dont-have-to-inform-parents-students-name-pronoun-changes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">told<\/a> Teachers did not need to notify parents if a student started transitioning at school. One Florida school district also kept this information secret. \u201cgender transition\u201d counseling of a 12-year-old girl secret from her parents until she attempted suicide \u2014 twice.<\/p>\n<p> CPS Looking After Parents <\/p>\n<p>If dealing with these issues at school wasn\u2019t bad enough, now child protective services (CPS) are going after parents.
