The most compelling reason to return to Pandora isn\u2019t just the movie\u2019s stunning visuals, new characters, and dramatic plot. It\u2019s the beautiful pro-family message woven into the film\u2019s storyline. <\/p>\n<p><em>Spoilers ahead<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Way of Water\u201d The second movie ended nearly twenty years ago. Jake and Neytiri are raising four beautiful children in the forests of Pandora, and they\u2019re happy. <\/p>\n<p>Neteyam, the couple\u2019s oldest child, is well on his way to inheriting his father\u2019s leadership position. Kiri, adopted by Jake and Neytiri after she was born to the Na\u2019vi clone of Dr. Grace Augustine, is curious, spiritual, and nurturing. Lo\u2019ak, the youngest son, is adventurous to a fault. Tuktirey, the Sully family\u2019s youngest daughter, is playful and follows her family around religiously. <\/p>\n<p>Also present for most of the Sully family\u2019s daily life is Miles \u201cSpider\u201d Socorro, the human child of enemy No. 1, Col. Quaritch. Spider is the first person to refer to Jake as a \u201cstray cat\u201d for his constant presence with Na\u2019vi. Jake, however, calls Spider &#8220;Spider&#8221; at the end of the film. \u201cson.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The movie begins with the following: \u201chappiness is simple\u201d for tight-knit Sullys and their Na\u2019vi community. \u201cSullys stick together,\u201d Family members often recite the same words.<\/p>\n<p>Happiness is quickly lost, but happiness can be restored when you are able to see the bigger picture. \u201csky people\u201d return to Pandora with hopes of permanently establishing a metro that can house the dying Earth\u2019s population.<\/p>\n<p>The film\u2019s political overtones are not lost on the audience. James Cameron, director <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thewrap.com\/james-cameron-yes-avatar-political-12929\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">self-professed tree hugger<\/a>, isn\u2019t shy about the messages he\u2019s trying to send through a story about a trigger-happy U.S. government waging war on foreign people to secure lucrative resources and land. <\/p>\n<p>If you can look past Cameron\u2019s anti-colonizer and \u201csave the planet\u201d You will however find a film with heartwarming messages that reinforces traditional marriage and family.<\/p>\n<p> A strong head for the household  <\/p>\n<p>None \u201cThe Way of Water\u2019s\u201d Without Jake, the pro-family message wouldn&#8217;t have been possible. <\/p>\n<p>Not only does Jake go out of his way to lead his tribe, but he also works hard to lead his family, love his wife, and teach and discipline his children \u2014 especially his naive son Lo\u2019ak. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cA father protects. It\u2019s what gives him meaning,\u201d Jake<\/p>\n<p>The most important pro-family aspect of the family is perhaps \u201cThe Way Of Water\u201d It shows how beautifully women and husbands can enjoy the joys of being married. Regardless of the dire circumstances that plague Pandora\u2019s people, pregnancy, childbirth, and motherhood are celebrated.<\/p>\n<p>Truth be told, Jake\u2019s impressive leadership is only possible with the help of his loyal wife Neytiri, who supports him even when she has doubts. She is a good mother, teacher, and listens to her kids well.
