For them, 2023 and the New Year can\u2019t come soon enough. <\/p>\n<p>This year, the 4-11 Cardinals have been a disaster with little going their way. <\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s especially true at the quarterback position.<\/p>\n<p>This weekend <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outkick.com\/raising-arizona-almost-impossible-with-declining-kyler-murray-and-flawed-kliff-kingsbury\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the Cardinals <\/a>Play the Atlanta Falcons. The team will begin their FOURTH quarterback for the season.<\/p>\n<p>If that\u2019s not crazy enough, this weekend marks the FOURTH-STRAIGHT game that Arizona will have a different signal caller under center.<\/p>\n<p>Are the Cardinals also placing their faith in now? <\/p>\n<p>David Blough is 27 years old. As recently as two weeks ago Blough wasn\u2019t even signed to an NFL team. And he hasn\u2019t thrown an NFL pass since 2020. In 2019, he started five games for the Detroit Lions\u2026 he lost all of them. <\/p>\n<p>The Cardinals had high hopes for Kyler Murray to lead them to another solid season. He then suffered a concussion-like injury to his head. Although he was expected to return this weekend, he had concussion-like symptoms that he experienced during practice this week. <\/p>\n<p>The Cardinals then went to Trace McSorley Christmas Day. It actually was close \u2013 but not because of him. The Buccaneers lost 19-16. <\/p>\n<p>So now it\u2019s David Blough\u2019s time to shine.
