He posted his thoughts on Instagram.<\/p>\n<p>Fox News reported that the remarks were an apparent reference to NBC\u2019s competing New Year show with Miley Cyrus and Dolly Parton.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUgh. Every year someone sends me this clip around New Year\u2019s Eve,\u201d Griffin commented in the post. \u201cThis guy was my boss for years. Decided whether or not I worked at Bravo. Can you imagine seeing your ex boss on TMZ like\u2026this? Ouch! Anyway, I can\u2019t wait to watch Miley and Dolly tonight.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"1\">Cooper and Cohen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/entertainment\/kathy-griffin-swipes-cnn-andy-cohen-ahead-new-years-coverage\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rang in the New Year<\/a> You can join the network by drinking non-alcoholic beverages.<\/p>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"3\">In November, Chris Licht, CEO of CNN and chairman of the company town hall, addressed the audience. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/cnn-cracks-down-on-drinking-during-new-years-eve-live-viewers-mourn-loss-of-hosts-on-air-antics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-reader-unique-id=\"4\">informed<\/a> staff that he would put a stop to much of the drinking that has usually been a hallmark of CNN\u2019s New Year\u2019s Eve programming.<\/p>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"7\">At the time, it was believed Anderson Cooper would allow hosts to continue drinking while broadcasting, but Don Lemon and anchors would be banned from drinking during broadcast.<\/p>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"8\">However, Cohen exclaimed during live television coverage,\u00a0\u201cWe can\u2019t drink!\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"9\">Cohen claimed that he kept a small stash of edibles. \u201cWill I take them? I don\u2019t think so,\u201d He said. \u201cI don\u2019t know. It\u2019s a long night. This is a telethon with no disease. Do you understand? We\u2019re here all night! During the meeting, Licht reportedly told staffers that drinking on-air eroded the presenters\u2019 credibility and \u201crespectability.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"46\">Last year, there was a lot of controversy over Lemon and Cohen&#8217;s alcohol-fueled rants during the broadcast. First,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/im-a-grown-a-man-kiss-my-behind-don-lemon-launches-self-pitying-rant-on-new-years-eve\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-reader-unique-id=\"47\">Lemon ranted<\/a>\u00a0Talk to Alisyn Camerota, a fellow host, and Dulce Sloan, a comedian about any criticisms he receives.\u00a0\u201cI don\u2019t give a \u2014 what you think about me, what do you think about that?\u201d Lemon. \u201cI\u2019m a grown-a** man. I don\u2019t care what you think about me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"48\">\u201cI am who I am,\u201d Lemon continues. \u201cI\u2019m a grown, successful black man who a lot of people hate because they\u2019re not used to people seeing me \u2014 and people like me \u2014 in the position that I am. To be able to share what I \u2026 my point of view on television, it freaks people out. And you know what? You can kiss my behind. I do not care. I don\u2019t care. I really don\u2019t care.
