The overwhelming majority of people are immune.<\/p>\n<p>The CDC warns measles can be fatal. \u201cserious\u201d It is a common condition that affects many people. \u201cespecially for babies and young children.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cChildren younger than 5 years of age and adults older than 20 years of age are more likely to suffer from complications,\u201d The CDC states. \u201cCommon complications are ear infections and diarrhea.
