It\u2019s the kind of embarrassing family drama the liberal broadcast networks would be all over if their last name were \u201cTrump\u201d and it involved one of the former President\u2019s adult sons.<\/p>\n<p>The story broke Thursday morning but instead of dedicating so much as a news brief on their morning or evening newscasts, ABC\u2019s <em>World News Tonight <\/em>The\u00a0<em>CBS Evening News<\/em> That night, they lit a fire in a Cambodian casino. Meanwhile, <em>NBC Nightly News <\/em>It was hyped that post-Christmas retail prices would be slashed.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nwaonline.com\/news\/2022\/dec\/29\/mother-of-hunter-bidens-daughter-asks-court-to\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette<\/a><\/em>, \u201cIt was one of four filings made in the case that was originally settled in March 2020. The case was reopened in September when Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, filed a motion to have his child support payments adjusted due to \u2018substantial material change\u2019 in his \u2018financial circumstances, including but not limited to his income.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden is a successful international businessman, with well-known business connections in Ukraine and China. But he\u2019s claiming he can no longer afford to pay child support. This a claim a more serious news industry would question if they weren\u2019t trying to defend a Democratic president.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, the paper reported that Biden was trying to hide his wealth by blocking discovery, resulting in Roberts\u2019 attorney demanding a list of all the places he\u2019s lived and the vehicles he\u2019s owned in the last 10 years:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Roberts filed the rest of his motions regarding Hunter Biden\u2019s request to adjust child support payments and to discover his income and finances.<\/p>\n<p>He filed one filing stating that Hunter Biden should be denied. &#8220;has a long, and lengthy, history of attempting to avoid discovery by filing endless and recurrent motions for protective orders. Additionally, this case was finally resolved the first time when this court denied the defendant&#8217;s motion for a protective order relating to discovery.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>It claims that Hunter Biden is &#8220;attempting to stifle discovery into his financial affairs while simultaneously reducing his child support obligation on the claim that he now earns less income.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In the filing, Hunter and the rest are also mentioned. \u201cestranged from the child. To the extent this is misconduct or neglect, it can be rectified by changing her last name to Biden so that she may undeniably be known to the world as the child of the defendant and member of the prestigious Biden family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Citing reasons why Roberts wants her daughter\u2019s last name changed, the filing added: \u201cBiden name is now synonymous with being well educated, successful, financially acute, and politically powerful.\u201d \u201cThe filing cited President Biden, his wife Jill Biden and Hunter&#8217;s [sic] Biden&#8217;s late brother, Beau., as examples,\u201d The paper noted.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, the networks ignored the Biden family\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbusters.org\/blogs\/nb\/scott-whitlock\/2021\/12\/03\/nets-skip-cruel-biden-stocking-stunt-wh-scrooges-erase-hunters\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cruel Christmas stocking stunt<\/a> The grandkids hung one each for their grandchildren above the fireplace of the State Dining Room. They also omitted one for little Navy.<\/p>\n<p><em>Because of the lucrative sponsorships by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mrc.org\/conservatives-fight-back\/advertiser\/ford-motor-company\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ford<\/a> ABC News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mrc.org\/conservatives-fight-back\/advertiser\/natures-bounty\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nature\u2019s Bounty<\/a> CBS News, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mrc.org\/conservatives-fight-back\/advertiser\/glaxosmithkline-gsk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GSK<\/a> NBC.
