This is an 18% increase over the previous year. The website is open for enrollment and provides subsidies to Americans with incomes between one and fourfold the federal poverty level.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI promised to lower costs for families and ensure that all Americans have access to quality affordable health care,\u201d Biden made the comment in an a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/statements-releases\/2022\/12\/27\/statement-from-president-joe-biden-on-record-2022-healthcare-gov-enrollment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">statement<\/a> The White House \u201cIn recent days, we received further proof that our efforts are delivering record results and bringing families the peace of mind that comes with health insurance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden said that nearly four out of five Americans who get health insurance through AffordableCare Act can expect to pay less that $10 per month. The Inflation Reduction Act extended benefits previously scheduled to expire at year&#8217;s end.<\/p>\n<p>According to an analysis, 27.5 million Americans did not have any health insurance last year. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kff.org\/uninsured\/issue-brief\/key-facts-about-the-uninsured-population\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">analysis<\/a> From the Kaiser Family Foundation<\/p>\n<p>Biden stated that his administration is \u201cworking to make health care a right, not a privilege.\u201d Many leftists believe health coverage is one among many positive rights under which others are obligated take action for another person. This includes the elimination of any supplemental programs. These families can receive more than $122,000 in Washington, while New Jersey and Massachusetts families can get more than $117,000 or $108,000 annually in benefits.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe federal government and the states offer a wide array of more than two dozen programs that provide cash assistance or in-kind benefits to low-income families.
