I\u2019m not sure of the circumstances, but that\u2019s what she told me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe\u2019s very smitten,\u201d Lamas continued. \u201cI told her to treat the relationship like a holiday \u2014 just enjoy it as much as you can for as long as it lasts. And if it lasts for more than a typical holiday, great. But if not, then just guard your heart, you know? He\u2019s currently dating 37-year-old former model Kenna Scott, per <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/entertainment\/leonardo-dicaprio-has-lorenzo-lamas-daughter-23-smitten-actor-shares-cautionary-tale\">Fox News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>DiCaprio was in the news after breaking up just as Camila Morrone turned 25, sparking a lot controversy. The actor had previously refused to date anyone older than 25 years old, according to reports.<\/p>\n<p>Lamas followed up with another interview, saying his daughter isn\u2019t exclusively dating DiCaprio or in any kind of serious relationship.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The actor claimed that his daughter was \u201cfriends\u201d With the \u201cTitanic\u201d star and they were in a \u201csocial environment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey were seen one time in West Hollywood at a club,\u201d Lamas explained. \u201cI mean, that is not dating.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYeah, smitten, but they\u2019re not dating,\u201d He continued. \u201cShe\u2019s fond of him, obviously. But, they\u2019re not dating, and she does not want that out there because that would be really bad. It\u2019d be embarrassing for her if he should happen to read something that said that they\u2019re dating and they\u2019re not.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re just friends, but she is smitten, of course,\u201d He went on. \u201cAnd that was my cautionary tale to her: Just take one step at a time. But as of now, they\u2019re not an item.
