The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/canadian-companys-commercial-highlighting-euthanasia-panned-dystopian?intcmp=tw_fnc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">video<\/a> Features a woman saying \u201cLast breaths are sacred; you just have to be brave enough to see it,\u201d Over a sequence of her being wheeled towards natural wonders. The department store\u2019s logo is featured prominently at the end of the commercial.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Canadian government has announced that they will address global outrage at the video and policy. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/2022\/dec\/18\/canada-medically-assisted-death-delay\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">delay<\/a> the program\u2019s expansion, but the battle is far from over, as the underlying issues driving the policy remain unchanged. The Canadian left has created a mythical health care system that eventually deprives Canadians from basic mental and physical health services. Now, they offer medically assisted suicide as a compassionate and financially responsible solution.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Canadian left created a single-payer system for health care in 1984. Citizens would pay into a federally, provincially, and provincially funded health-care program that offers access to all health services, at no additional cost. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/health-canada\/services\/health-care-system\/canada-health-care-system-medicare\/canada-health-act.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">mission<\/a> To \u201cprotect, promote and restore the physical and mental well-being of residents of Canada and to facilitate reasonable access to health services without financial or other barriers.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>But maintaining a low-cost, easy-access, government-run health-care program in a large, democratic country with a growing dependent-to-workforce ratio just isn\u2019t working out for Canada. The low pay of medical professionals has led to an increase in costs for students and doctors. <a href=\"https:\/\/financialpost.com\/executive\/executive-summary\/posthaste-doctor-shortage-canada-rbc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">acute<\/a> A shortage of doctors in a nation that once had one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/nationalpost.com\/news\/canada-doctor-ratios-what-happened\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">best<\/a> The world&#8217;s doctor-to-population ratios <\/p>\n<p>Doctors can only bill the government $31 per patient; they can only see a maximum of 50 patients per day; and they can\u2019t bill for time-consuming tasks like checking labs, writing referrals, and conducting physical exams. The democratically unpopular decision to raise taxes to pay for more doctors obliterates government-run healthcare&#8217;s promised cost savings. As a result, increasing health-care expenses are deducted form the general budget. This results in less money being available for all other programs and more government borrowing.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, federal debt has <a href=\"https:\/\/tradingeconomics.com\/canada\/government-debt#:~:text=Government%20Debt%20in%20Canada%20averaged,statistics%2C%20economic%20calendar%20and%20news.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">exploded<\/a>Inflation has risen to an all-time high. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/markets\/view-canada-annual-inflation-rate-holds-steady-69-october-2022-11-16\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">record<\/a> Canadians are now required to wait for highs <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fraserinstitute.org\/categories\/health-care-wait-times\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">half a year<\/a> to see specific physicians, by which point they\u2019re either feeling better already, suffering greatly from lack of treatment, or dead. To reconcile leftist ideals of providing care at no extra cost for all with fiscal reality, it is necessary to find a radical technocratic solution. This would be eliminating excess population to alleviate their suffering.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This isn\u2019t an over-exaggeration.
