They were looking for evidence about the case in the which Tate and his brother are accused of kidnapping two women.<\/p>\n<p>Local media reported that sources close the investigation claimed the ex-policewoman had formed a criminal organization. Romanian prosecutors claimed that the group aimed to specifically recruit and exploit girls to create pornographic clips and distribute them on sites such as OnlyFans.<\/p>\n<p>According to Romanian media outlets the raid was carried by the Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.g4media.ro\/noi-descinderi-diicot-la-cei-doi-frati-britanici-din-voluntari-acuzati-ca-au-sechestrat-fete.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">G4Media<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to Daily Mail, DICCOT said in a news release that Romania\u2019s police, crime, and investigation unit had raided five homes with search warrants issued in connection to an ongoing investigation into an organized criminal group, human trafficking, and rape.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">These are the alleged victims \u201crecruited by two British citizens\u201d Police said that the victims were later taken to Ilfov County and placed in housing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The suspects were not named by authorities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The women were then allegedly subjected to \u201cphysical violence and mental coercion\u2019 and were \u2018sexually exploited by group members by forcing them to perform pornographic demonstrations [\u2026] for the purpose of producing and disseminating through social media platforms,\u201d Daily Mail <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-11583711\/Andrew-Tates-luxury-villa-Romania-raided-police.html?ns_mchannel=rss&#038;ns_campaign=1490&#038;ito=social-twitter_dailymailUK\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities reportedly detained the two brothers for 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p>Tate\u2019The day following he filmed, a reported apprehension is expressed by the actor. <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/12\/29\/greta-thunberg-and-andrew-tate-trade-barbs-in-twitter-spat\/\">video<\/a> Greta Thunberg was criticised for using a Romanian national chain pizza box as a way to criticize climate activist Greta Thunberg.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">BREAKING: Andrew Tate, brother Tristan are arrested in Romania as part of a probe into human trafficking <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/b5eaZrErAb\">pic.twitter.com\/b5eaZrErAb<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 BNO News (@BNONews) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BNONews\/status\/1608578309981442051?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 29, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Tate was charged with human trafficking in Romania in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>According to reports, Tate said that the allegations stemmed from a swatting incident in which authorities accused him and his brother, of obtaining large amounts of money with which they purchased houses, luxury cars and cryptocurrencies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was not arrested,\u201d Tate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.news.com.au\/lifestyle\/real-life\/news-life\/andrew-tate-brother-tristan-arrested-amid-human-trafficking-probe\/news-story\/248458ec593bf1bc76ce70f8250abf88\">said<\/a>. \u201cWhat happened is I suffered from a case of swatting.
