The <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/lawsuit\">lawsuit<\/a> arrives as FTX founder <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/opinion\/how-screwed-is-sam-bankman-fried\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sam Bankman-Fried<\/a> faces charges in court alleging <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/fraud\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fraud<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/technology\/doj-hack-investigation-ftx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DOJ INVESTIGATING THEFT OF $372M FROM FTX AMID TRIAL OF FOUNDER<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Customer class members should not have to stand in line along with secured or general unsecured creditors in these bankruptcy proceedings just to share in the diminished estate assets of the FTX Group and Alameda,&#8221; the complaint <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/ftx-customers-file-class-action-lawsuit-to-get-priority-reparations\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">argued<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>The complaint also argued that the assets used by FTX &#8220;never belonged to [them] and that they should not be used to repay the investors.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Bankman-Fried <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/crime\/ftx-founder-sam-bankman-fried-lands-in-us-court\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">appeared in court<\/a> for the first time after being charged by federal courts in New York over fraud charges. He was ordered to pay a <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/economy\/sam-bankman-fried-granted-250-million-bail\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">$250 million bail<\/a> and to stay with his parents during the court proceedings by a judge.
