He was allegedly the serial killer who ambushed victims since April 2021. <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/stockton-crime-legal-proceedings-shootings-dd90bdf065c27f006a1e1179b4903b21?fbclid=IwAR0ZJwLI5H0-kPzMRyTreFddnIXKgewf8AL17_MZPPbtWJHjrcPrnn1KoGo\">reported<\/a>. Brownlee was detained while he \u201cwas out hunting\u201d For another victim, call police <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/crime-shootings-arrests-california-stockton-4f7cd8dc06d50eab1035613249c282a2\">said<\/a> October<\/p>\n<p>Authorities already had revealed the identities of three victims from the new murders. They had previously claimed that Brownlee was the culprit. In the beginning, authorities believed Brownlee had killed six people and wounded one woman. He has been charged with seven murders.<\/p>\n<p>Jonathan Rodriguez Hernandez, 21, Juan Cruz, 52, and Lawrence Lopez Sr. were the first three victims. These three men were murdered in August and September. A new complaint accuses Brownlee of the deaths Paul Yaw, 35, Salvador Debudey Jr. 43, Juan Vasquez Serrano 39, and Mervin Harm. Yaw and Debudey died in Stockton in the summer, while Harmon and Serrano were killed in Alameda in April 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Brownlee, 46, was also charged in the killings.<\/p>\n<p>Stanley McFadden, Chief of Stockton Police, stated that police use community tips during a October news conference. \u201cgood old-fashioned police work\u201d Brownlee is easy to find.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBased on tips coming to the department\u2019s Stockton Crimestoppers, were we able to zero in on a possible suspect,\u201d McFadden stated, The Daily Wire had previously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/suspected-serial-killer-of-six-arrested-in-california-police-say\">reported<\/a>. \u201cOur surveillance team followed this person while he was driving \u2026 watched his pattern and determined early this morning.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was on a mission to kill,\u201d McFadden added.<\/p>\n<p>Police chief stated that officers took a black man in dark clothes into custody after following him around dark places and parks. He would stop to look around and then move on to the next location.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was out hunting,\u201d McFadden stated this at his press conference. \u201cWe are sure we stopped another killing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Brownlee was convicted of drug and traffic offenses in Arizona and California.<\/p>\n<p>McFadden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2022\/10\/16\/us\/stockton-serial-killings-suspect-sunday\">told<\/a> CNN that Brownlee\u2019s seven victims were \u201calone, often caught off guard, or maybe relaxing in a vehicle or walking alone in almost pitch darkness\u201d When they were attacked.<\/p>\n<p>He also said that \u201cJust because an arrest was made does not mean the investigation stops,\u201d It is possible to say \u201cthis is still a very active investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A California man charged with serial killings in Northern California has been charged with four more slayings, bringing the total number of suspected deaths to seven.
