Seacrest and ABC were mocked by the CNN host, who said: \u201cIf you look behind me, you\u2019ll see Ryan Seacrest\u2019s group of losers performing. I\u2019m sorry but if you\u2019re watching ABC, you\u2019re watching nothing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Seacrest stated to EW that CNN hosts were his guests \u201chad something to say about my show at one point,\u201d and that he doesn\u2019t \u201cthink they would say what they said about our performers if they weren\u2019t drinking.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI might send them some Casa Dragones Tequila just to tempt them while they\u2019re on the air,\u201d Seacrest spoke to EW.<\/p>\n<p>Cohen later justified his rant by saying that \u201cI won\u2019t be shamed for it. I had a blast. Anderson [Cooper] had a blast. We left and we were like \u2018That was fun, what a fun New Year\u2019s Eve.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He did regret his meanness to his wife, however. \u201cfriend\u201d Cohen, Seacrest and Cohen both stated that they have no plans to stop drinking alcohol for this year&#8217;s broadcast. \u201cMy only direction is to have fun,\u201d Cohen told <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/food\/andy-cohen-new-years-eve-cnn-cocktail-it-up-despite-drink-limits\/\">People<\/a> last month of what to expect during New Year\u2019s Eve. \u201cThat\u2019s what I plan to do and I\u2019m happy to cocktail it up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think people enjoy seeing me feed Anderson shots and that\u2019s on the menu,\u201d He went on.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDick Clark\u2019s New Years Rockin\u2019 Eve With Ryan Seacrest\u201d Live broadcasts from Times Square, with Liza Koshy as co-hosts and Jessie James Decker as co-hosts.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ryan Seacrest just said he agrees with the idea of CNN limiting hosts\u2019 alcohol consumption during their New Year\u2019s Eve broadcast.
