You can also see more 19FortyFive videos<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@19fortyfive\/videos\"> Here<\/a>) <\/p>\n<p>According to the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), there were nearly twelve.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lockheedmartin.com\/en-us\/products\/f-35\/f-35-global-partnership\/f-35-israel.html\"> F-35I \u201cAdir\u201d fighters<\/a> Following the recommendations of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.19fortyfive.com\/2022\/12\/f-35a-air-force-mainstay\/\">F-35<\/a> Joint Program Office. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom the findings and the information given, it was found that these planes require a dedicated inspection in order to rule out the possibility of a repeated malfunction in the Israeli array,\u201d The IDF stated via a statement.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.timesofisrael.com\/israel-grounds-11-f-35-jets-after-us-fighter-crashes-during-test\/\"> according to the Times of Israel.<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Second Grounding <\/p>\n<p>The IAF was forced to temporarily ground its fighters for the second time in this year.<\/p>\n<p>The entire fleet of three-and-a-half jets was retired in August.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.19fortyfive.com\/2022\/08\/israel-grounds-all-f-35s-stealth-fighters\/\"> underwent a detailed inspection and evaluation<\/a> Out of an abundance caution. Nearly the entire Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II fleet was inspected after a faulty part was found. This could have prevented a pilot from safely egressing from the aircraft in an emergency. <\/p>\n<p>Lockheed Martin provided equipment to the IAF teams and other operators in order to inspect the Martin-Baker Ejection Seats.<\/p>\n<p>This matter was resolved in a matter of days.
