The authorities weren&#8217;t notified until 11 :25 a.m. Police were alerted at 5:26 A.M. to a burglary at Tacoma Public Utilities Substation. Later, police were alerted to another attack on the TPU Substation. <\/p>\n<p>The department was not notified until 7:21 p.m. <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/piercecounty.sheriff\/posts\/pfbid02DA8cZu9VBH1h3tBkpNfJmYQg83tKZ2xiV9mcrXwVXwMqYBVPMNxm3zepttVpuBGbl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">call<\/a> Concerning a fire at Kapowsin Substation. Authorities said that it was not known how many other customers were affected by the outage, but they did say that there were approximately 50,000. &#8220;power was knocked out for homes in Kapowsin and Graham.&#8221; Vandalism to equipment caused the fire to start. <\/p>\n<p>According to police, power has been restored to the majority of affected homes. <\/p>\n<p>Authorities have not taken any suspects into custody in connection with the burglaries.
