Here are the NCAA bowl games you should keep your eye on for big plays and surprising wins. <\/p>\n<p>If you can\u2019t <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncaa.com\/news\/football\/article\/2022-12-22\/2022-23-college-football-bowl-game-schedule-scores-tv-channels-times\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tune in live<\/a>, follow bowl game<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncaa.com\/scoreboard\/football\/fbs?utm_campaign=inline-article\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> scoreboards here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Arkansas vs. Kansas<\/h2>\n<p>Unranked Arkansas is favored to win the Dec. 28 Liberty Bowl, but Kansas, a school better known for basketball, could put up a fight worth watching. Kansas may have ended its season with three consecutive losses and Arkansas did lose <a href=\"https:\/\/bleacherreport.com\/articles\/10058450-notable-cfb-players-sitting-out-of-2022-bowl-games\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">several key players to opt-outs<\/a>, but this game could become a high-scoring shootout. Especially if Arkansas\u2019s offense plays well and Kansas uses its newfound stamina strategically. <\/p>\n<h2>Oregon vs. North Carolina<\/h2>\n<p>Watch Oregon, which ended its season 15th overall, take on North Carolina on Dec. 28 in the Holiday Bowl. The Ducks are favored to win by multiple touchdowns, but the Tar Heels could have shot if their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/college-football\/game\/_\/gameId\/401470891\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">team leaders<\/a> catch quarterback Bo Nix off guard enough. <\/p>\n<h2>Texas Tech vs. Ole Miss<\/h2>\n<p>As a Lubbock native, I\u2019m biased, but I think the Dec. 28 Texas Bowl is worth watching just to see if Texas Tech\u2019s offense, which ranked in the <a href=\"https:\/\/fansided.com\/2022\/12\/21\/texas-tech-vs-ole-miss-prediction-odds-texas-bowl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">top 20<\/a> in red zone touchdown percentage, will hold up against Ole Miss\u2019s defense. Ole Miss may be favored to win, but the Red Raiders\u2019 seasonal winning streak will be useful momentum against the Rebels, which lost their last three regular season games. <\/p>\n<h2>Texas vs. Washington<\/h2>\n<p>I\u2019m personally tuning into the Alamo Bowl on Dec. 29 with hopes that the Texas Longhorns will get trampled (horns down, always). Unfortunately, even I have to acknowledge Texas\u2019s record when it comes to winning bowl games is outstanding and could give the Longhorns the boost they need to win another. Texas is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.burntorangenation.com\/2022\/12\/11\/23504539\/texas-longhorns-alamo-bowl-opt-outs-bijan-robinson-roschon-johnson-demarvion-overshown\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">missing several key players<\/a> that Washington could use to their advantage. Regardless, Texas is still favored to win. <\/p>\n<h2>Florida State vs. Oklahoma<\/h2>\n<p>If the ranked Florida State has anything to say about it, the Dec. 29 Cheez-It Bowl will be a bowl game for the books. With a top-20 scoring offense and a five-game winning streak, the Seminoles are prepared to play a tough game against Oklahoma. The Sooners were clearly weakened after their head coach\u2019s departure last year but could use their poor 2022 performance as motivation to win again. <\/p>\n<h2>South Carolina vs. Notre Dame<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/college-football\/game\/_\/gameId\/401442036\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Odds say<\/a> the Dec. 30 Gator Bowl title will go to Notre Dame, but South Carolina isn\u2019t ready to give up yet. After big seasonal wins over Clemson and Tennessee, the Gamecocks carry an offensive drive that could startle the Fighting Irish. Notre Dame, on the other hand, has only become stronger as its season progressed and could easily snatch another victory to cap off its wins. <\/p>\n<h2>Tennessee vs. Clemson<\/h2>\n<p>No. 6 Tennessee and No. 7 Clemson will show down in the Dec. 30 Orange Bowl. Expect a fast game that will only slow if the Vol\u2019s defense can stop the Tigers\u2019 quarterback Cade Klubnik in his tracks in the first half. <\/p>\n<h2>Alabama vs. Kansas State<\/h2>\n<p>Kansas State\u2019s \u201cwe want \u2018Bama\u201d calls will become reality on Dec. 31 when they take on the Crimson Tide in the Sugar Bowl. Momentum from the Wildcats\u2019 win against the nation\u2019s No. 3 team and Fiesta Bowl contender TCU during the Big 12 championship could give them the strength they need to overpower Alabama. <\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t discount the former SEC champion yet, though. Alabama will likely enter this game with a massive chip on its shoulder \u2014 especially knowing that the team lost three of the last four Sugar Bowl games it participated in. <\/p>\n<h2>Michigan vs. TCU<\/h2>\n<p>Michigan lost the college football playoff last year, which will likely give the team more season to win the Dec. 31 Fiesta Bowl, <a href=\"https:\/\/theathletic.com\/4018925\/2022\/12\/20\/michigan-vs-tcu-odds-expert-picks-for-college-football-playoff-semifinal-at-fiesta-bowl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">as predicted<\/a>. Aside from their loss to Kansas State in the Big 12 championship, TCU has a back pocket of wins that could give the Horned Frogs the strength to rival the Wolverines. The results of this game could be a bittersweet goodbye or an incredible path to the college football championship for the Big 12, depending on TCU\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n<h2>Georgia vs. Ohio State<\/h2>\n<p>The Dec. 31 Peach Bowl will bring two college football champions, undefeated Georgia and No. 4 Ohio State, head to head. The Bulldogs are favored to win, but their victory is never guaranteed on the field against the Buckeyes\u2019 loaded bench. The winner will play in the college football championship on Jan. 9.<\/p>\n<h2>LSU vs. Purdue<\/h2>\n<p>LSU is strongly favored to win against Purdue in the Citrus Bowl on Jan. 2. The Tigers\u2019 impressive offensive record certainly signals another win for the SEC. Purdue, however, could challenge LSU with its strong passing game. <\/p>\n<h2>Mississippi State vs. Illinois <\/h2>\n<p>Despite suddenly losing their head coach Mike Leach to heart complications earlier this month, Mississippi State isn\u2019t going down to the 8-4 Illinois without a fight. Show your support for one of America\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/12\/13\/honoring-the-life-and-legacy-of-college-football-coach-mike-leach-with-his-wittiest-moments\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">most beloved college football coaches<\/a> by watching his nationally ranked team\u2019s showdown in the ReliaQuest Bowl in Tampa, Florida, on Jan. 2.  <\/p>\n<h2>USC vs. Tulane<\/h2>\n<p>This game is worth watching solely to see the Trojans\u2019 new head coach Lincoln Riley and Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams in action. After <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/sports\/ncaaf\/2022\/12\/03\/ucss-loss-utah-pac-12-championship-upends-college-football\/10823702002\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">losing the Pac-12 championship<\/a> to Utah just a few weeks ago, USC is coming to the Cotton Bowl on Jan. 2 not just to play, but to win. <\/p>\n<h2>Utah vs. Penn State<\/h2>\n<p>No. 8 Utah is entering the Rose Bowl on Jan. 2 with momentum from its Pac-12 championship victory. Armed with a new quarterback, No. 11 Penn State is ready to challenge the Utes\u2019 defense for a chance to bring the Big 10 some accolades.
