Jackson Women\u2019s Health Organization<\/em> was leaked, and Americans are still no closer to learning the identity of the individual responsible.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2022\/05\/02\/supreme-court-abortion-draft-opinion-00029473\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Published<\/a> in Politico on May 2, the draft opinion prematurely revealed that the high court had decided to strike down the nonsensical precedent established in <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em> that invented a constitutional \u201cright\u201d to an abortion. Within 24 hours of the draft\u2019s publication, Chief Justice John Roberts <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supremecourt.gov\/publicinfo\/press\/pressreleases\/pr_05-03-22\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">announced<\/a> he had authorized the launch of an investigation to determine the source of the leak.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo the extent this betrayal of the confidences of the Court was intended to undermine the integrity of our operations, it will not succeed,\u201d Roberts said. \u201cThis was a singular and egregious breach of that trust that is an affront to the Court and the community of public servants who work here.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Many in conservative circles remained hopeful in the weeks following that the culprit would be brought to justice swiftly. Even Associate Justice Neil Gorsuch, while speaking at a judicial conference on Sept. 8, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/justice-gorsuch-said-findings-of-probe-into-leaked-roe-draft-opinion-will-be-made-in-report-11662684240\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">expressed<\/a> optimism the report would be released \u201csoon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But as months went by, any confidence conservatives had in seeing some form of accountability for the individual responsible began to fade.<\/p>\n<p> Democrat Conspiracy Theories  <\/p>\n<p>Upset at the high court\u2019s decision to topple their pagan idol of abortion, Democrats and their allies in corporate media have spent the past few months concocting the most baseless conspiracy theory of all: that Justice Samuel Alito \u2014 the author of the majority opinion in <em>Dobbs<\/em> \u2014 was the one who leaked the draft opinion.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/12\/19\/new-york-times-slammed-over-swastika-crossword-on-first-day-of-hanukkah\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">swastika-obsessed<\/a> New York Times <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/11\/19\/us\/supreme-court-leak-abortion-roe-wade.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">published<\/a> accusations by Rev. Rob Schenck, who claimed he was told the outcome of the Supreme Court\u2019s 2014 decision in <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.law.cornell.edu\/supremecourt\/text\/13-354\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Burwell v. Hobby Lobby<\/a> <\/em>before it was released. In the case, the court ruled in a 5-4 decision that Hobby Lobby did not have to abide by a mandate from the Department of Health and Human Services that <a href=\"http:\/\/hobbylobbycase.com\/the-case\/the-decision\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">required<\/a> the company to \u201cprovide and facilitate four potentially life-terminating drugs and devices in their health insurance plan, against their religious convictions, or pay severe fines.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a <a href=\"https:\/\/int.nyt.com\/data\/documenttools\/roberts-letter-redacted-annotated\/fb6e34bb904bfafa\/full.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">letter<\/a> sent to Chief Justice Roberts in July, Schenck \u2014 a former pro-life activist who <a href=\"https:\/\/juicyecumenism.com\/2019\/06\/14\/rob-schenck\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">now supports<\/a> abortion \u2014 claimed he was informed of the case\u2019s outcome by Gayle Wright, a donor to his nonprofit organization who Schenck asserts was told by Alito during a dinner at the justice\u2019s home in June 2014. <\/p>\n<p>But there\u2019s one small problem with Schenck\u2019s accusation: Wright denies that Alito ever told her such a thing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[Gayle Wright] in a phone interview, denied obtaining or passing along any such information,\u201d the Times <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/11\/19\/us\/supreme-court-leak-abortion-roe-wade.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">report<\/a> reads.
