Their secrets are leaking.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignright\">\n\t<\/aside>\n<p>Ever since Musk authorized a group of independent journalists to release the Twitter Files three weeks ago, <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/12\/18\/latest-twitter-files-show-fbi-questioned-executives-over-users-spouting-state-propaganda\/\">a steady drip of damning evidence has emerged<\/a>, showing collusion between Twitter and the federal government, including the FBI, to censor Americans and suppress dissent, in violation of the First Amendment.<\/p>\n<p>In particular we have seen how the FBI, <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/12\/04\/fbi-warned-twitter-of-hunter-biden-hack-before-censoring-the-post\/\">in weekly meetings with Twitter<\/a>, pre-bunked The Post\u2019s Hunter Biden laptop story on Oct. 14, 2020, persuading Twitter to suppress the story and lock down our account for more than two weeks.<\/p>\n<p>As journalist Matt Taibbi wrote in Twitter Files part 6, Twitter was acting as a \u201csubsidiary\u201d of the FBI, in a relationship he described as \u201cmaster-canine.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At least 80 FBI agents were engaged full-time in flagging and analyzing user content, demanding user location information and requesting that Twitter take action against mainly \u201clow-follower accounts belonging to ordinary Americans\u201d \u2014 including ones that just cracked jokes.<\/p>\n<p>FBI-Twitter communications were \u201cconstant and pervasive,\u201d wrote Taibbi. \u201cInstead of chasing child sex predators or terrorists, the FBI has agents \u2014 lots of them \u2014 analyzing and mass-flagging social media posts. Not as part of any criminal investigation, but as a permanent, end-in-itself surveillance operation. People should not be okay with this.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sunday night, in a supplemental dump, Taibbi revealed more communications showing the FBI was \u201cacting as conduit for the Intelligence Community.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/12\/AFP_334U2R8.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"653\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/AFP_334U2R8.jpg\" alt=\"Elon Musk\" class=\"wp-image-25059413\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/12\/AFP_334U2R8.jpg?quality=75&#038;strip=all&#038;w=2048 2048w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/12\/AFP_334U2R8.jpg?quality=75&#038;strip=all&#038;w=1536 1536w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/12\/AFP_334U2R8.jpg?quality=75&#038;strip=all 1024w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/12\/AFP_334U2R8.jpg?quality=75&#038;strip=all&#038;w=512 512w\" \/><\/a><figcaption>The released \u201cTwitter Files\u201d has caused a lot of conversation and concern over the social media platform. <\/figcaption><figcaption><span class=\"credit\">AFP via Getty Images\/ Chris Delmas<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Half the public is still in the dark about this egregious assault on our liberties since, for some bizarre reason, the left-wing media seems to support <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/11\/27\/the-left-throws-a-tantrum-as-elon-musk-reverses-censorship-on-twitter\/\">censorship<\/a> and wants to censor mention of it.<\/p>\n<p>But at some point, the land of the free and home of the brave will rebel.<\/p>\n<p>The next Twitter Files dump promised as early as Monday, from independent journalist Michael Shellenberger, is another chink in the wall of social-media censorship.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n\t<\/aside>\n<p>He will reveal that on the evening of Oct. 13, 2020, the night before The Post\u2019s Hunter Biden Laptop story was published \u2014 and censored \u2014 the FBI sent documents to Twitter through a special one-way channel at 9:22 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n<p>Just over 2\u00b9\/\u2082 hours earlier, Hunter Biden\u2019s lawyer George Mesires, after a request from The Post for comment, had called Delaware computer repair shop <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/12\/04\/hunter-biden-whistleblower-says-hes-been-vindicated\/\">owner John Paul Mac Isaac<\/a> and asked for the laptop back.<\/p>\n<p>In Mac Isaac\u2019s book, \u201cAmerican Injustice,\u201d he writes that the phone call came in at 6:50 p.m. ET and Mesires said, \u201cMy client dropped off some equipment, maybe a laptop, in 2017, and we\u2019re checking to see if you\u2019re still in possession of it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mac Isaac asked the caller to send him an email to confirm who he was.<\/p>\n<p>Eight minutes later, an email arrived from Mesires using his official Faegre Drinker Biddle and Reath law firm address.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJohn Paul: Thank you for speaking with me tonight. As I indicated, I am a lawyer for Hunter Biden and I appreciate you reviewing your records on this matter. But it is an interesting coincidence, and the FBI has broken trust with the public to such an extent that we now fear the worst.<\/p>\n<p>Shellenberger also has discovered multiple conversations relating to the 2020 election between the FBI and Twitter\u2019s deputy general counsel James Baker, the FBI\u2019s former top lawyer who showed up at Twitter serendipitously five months before the 2020 election, seemingly to act as gatekeeper for any information that might damage Joe Biden\u2019s election prospects.<\/p>\n<h2>Someone\u2019s watching<\/h2>\n<p>FBI agent-turned-hero whistleblower Steve Friend is disgusted by the revelations so far.<\/p>\n<p>He was suspended without pay this year after <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/09\/25\/facebook-silencing-activity-related-to-fbi-whistleblower-steve-friend\/\">objecting to his bosses<\/a> about the manipulation of FBI case-file management to falsely inflate the threat of domestic terrorism, and what he saw as persecution of political opponents of the Biden administration.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Twitter Files have exposed how big tech and big government are coequal branches of a hydra hellbent on infringing on seizing power and control at the expense of Americans\u2019 civil rights and bodily autonomy,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>You can bet that the censorship regime we see unravelling at Twitter also exists across Big Tech.
