The charges under consideration are insurrection, obstruction of an official proceeding, and conspiracy to defraud the U.S. government. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is someone who, in multiple ways, tried to pressure state officials to find votes that didn\u2019t exist. This is someone who tried to interfere with a joint session, even inciting a mob to attack the Capitol,\u201d Schiff said. \u201cIf that\u2019s not criminal, then I don\u2019t know what is.\u201d <\/p>\n<p><b><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER<\/a><\/b> <\/p>\n<p>When asked if he thought the evidence against Trump was enough for a conviction, Schiff could not say. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I don&#8217;t know what the Justice Department has,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I do know what&#8217;s in the public record. The evidence seems pretty plain to me. But I would want to see the full body of evidence, if I were in the prosecutor&#8217;s shoes, to make a decision.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>Schiff&#8217;s comments echo those of Rep.
