Lake\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.clerkofcourt.maricopa.gov\/home\/showpublisheddocument\/4331\/638067137107670000\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">claims<\/a> there were tabulator breakdowns at over 59% of the voting centers within the county on Election Day.<\/p>\n<p>The Maricopa County Superior Court of Arizona on Thursday advanced Lake\u2019s request to\u00a0inspect 50 randomly-selected Election Day cast and spoil-marked \u201cballot-on-demand\u201d printed ballots from six county voting centers, <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/12\/16\/kari-lake-maricopa-county-ballots\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">according<\/a> to The Daily Caller. Another\u00a050 early cast ballots from six separate county batches will be inspected, too.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn Election Day, thousands of Republican voters were disenfranchised as a result of Maricopa County election officials\u2019 misconduct in connection with the widespread tabulator or printer failures at 59% of the 223 vote centers in Maricopa County,\u201d the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.documentcloud.org\/documents\/23404240-cv2022095403-complaint-in\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">suit<\/a> from Lake alleges.<\/p>\n<p>The Republican last month <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/kari-lake-files-lawsuit-against-maricopa-county-over-election-day-issues\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">filed<\/a> suit against Maricopa County officials, The Daily Wire reported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe filing today was basically just a way for the courts to pressure Maricopa County into giving us public records we have been asking for,\u201d Lake <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/KariLake\/status\/1595580731392110592\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a>\u00a0at the time.<\/p>\n<p>The Republican also blasted county officials over the treatment of \u201cElection Day voters,\u201d which included those printer issues and \u201cthree-hour lines.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe cannot allow an election like this to stand,\u201d the GOP candidate asserted.<\/p>\n<p>The Republican National Committee (RNC) and Arizona attorney general candidate Abe Hamadeh, a day before Lake\u2019s November suit against county officials, filed a lawsuit in State Superior Court in Maricopa County against election officials, alleging \u201ca host of errors and inaccuracies\u201d during the 2022 election process, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/see-you-in-court-rnc-ag-candidate-sue-election-officials-in-arizona-over-alleged-errors-and-inaccuracies\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Daily Wire<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPervasive errors by our election officials resulted in the disenfranchisement of countless Arizonans who had their voices silenced,\u201d Hamadeh said in a statement. \u201cArizonans deserve to have an election system that is transparent and fair and right now we have neither.
