Both will close in March 2025.<\/p>\n<p>In light of the closures, officials said the department is working to \u201cminimize the impact\u201d on employees working at the locations.<\/p>\n<p>Ting rolled out the budget plan as officials prepare for the next fiscal cycle, which runs from July 2023 through June 2024.<\/p>\n<p>California is estimated to face a $24 billion shortfall in the 2023\u20132024 fiscal year, according to the state\u2019s Legislative Analyst\u2019s Office, who advised lawmakers in November to cut down on spending.<\/p>\n<div class=\"author_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"one_author_block round\">\n<div class=\"top_row\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/author-jamie-joseph\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/WEB_JamieJoseph2.jpg\" alt=\"Jamie Joseph\"   style=\"display:none\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Follow<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Jamie is a California-based reporter covering issues in Los Angeles and state policies for The Epoch Times.
