The California Congresswoman even lightly ribbed a reporter who suggested that, because of the approaching Christmas holiday, Thursday\u2019s press briefing might be her last as a Democratic Party leader.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCould be, and we may have one a day,\u201d \u00a0Pelosi joked.<\/p>\n<p>The outgoing Speaker talked at length about her legacy as a leader within her party, saying that even after decades of service, nothing she had ever accomplished could hold a candle to the passage of 2010\u2019s Affordable Care Act, which was championed and signed into law by then-President Barack Obama.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNothing in any of the years that I was there compares to the Affordable Care Act, expanding health care to tens of millions more Americans, 150 million families having better benefits, lower cost and no preexisting condition, risking their access and no lifetime limits. Being a woman no longer a preexisting condition,\u201d Pelosi stated.<\/p>\n<p>But Pelosi\u2019s attitude quickly soured when a reporter asked whether she would finish out her final term once the gavel had been relinquished.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WATCH:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">&#8220;Will you commit to serving your full two-year term for the people of San Francisco?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>NANCY PELOSI: &#8220;What is this? Those kind of questions are such a waste of my time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition to turning her gavel over to an as-yet-unnamed new House Speaker in January, Pelosi <a href=\"https:\/\/dailywire.com\/news\/breaking-nancy-pelosi-will-not-seek-job-as-top-house-democrat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced<\/a> shortly after the midterm election that she did not intend to seek a leadership role in the next Congress.
