Carla Hurley \u2014 who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/news\/paul-pelosi-attack-suspect-allegedly-kept-hit-list-to-go-after-hunter-biden-gavin-newsom-tom-hanks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">interviewed DePape<\/a> after he was detained \u2014 the list included the House Speaker, Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA), actor Tom Hanks, and Hunter Biden, the embattled son of President Joe Biden.<\/p>\n<p>Anchor Gayle King discussed the revelation with reporter Scott McFarlane on Thursday\u2019s broadcast of \u201cCBS Mornings,\u201d saying, \u201cThis was very scary to hear the \u2026 more details that we heard yesterday.\u201d<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Police say the man charged with attacking Paul Pelosi has admitted he had other targets as well, including Hunter Biden, California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Tom Hanks.<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MacFarlaneNews?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@MacFarlaneNews<\/a> reports what new details investigators have revealed so far. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/fVptxF4cRB\">https:\/\/t.co\/fVptxF4cRB<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/X0rdz0M0zU\">pic.twitter.com\/X0rdz0M0zU<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 CBS Mornings (@CBSMornings) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CBSMornings\/status\/1603373252629471238?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 15, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<p>McFarlane explained that DePape, during his interview with law enforcement, had said he believed there was \u201cevil\u201d in Washington, D.C., and that he had traced it all the way back to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is evil in Washington, what they did went so far beyond the campaign. It originates with Hillary (Clinton) \u2026 Honestly, day in day out, they are lying. They go from one crime to another crime to another crime,\u201d DePape said, according to Detective Hurley\u2019s testimony.<\/p>\n<p>Body-cam footage of the confrontation with police \u2014 both during and immediately after the attack on Pelosi \u2014 was also <a href=\"https:\/\/dailywire.com\/news\/body-cam-footage-of-paul-pelosi-attack-shown-in-court\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">played in the courtroom<\/a>, giving a more comprehensive picture of DePape\u2019s frame of mind at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m sick of the insane f***ing level of lies coming out of Washington, D.C. I came here to have a little chat with his wife. I didn\u2019t really want to hurt him, but you know this was a suicide mission.
