Are they going to be treated like the magazine staffers were?&#8221; one employee can be heard asking as Ryan began to make his exit while other personnel also attempted to get answers.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, the Post ended their Sunday print magazine and laid off its employees, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonian.com\/2022\/11\/30\/washington-post-ends-print-sunday-magazine\/\">Washingtonian<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We will have more information as we move forward,&#8221; the CEO replied.<\/p>\n<p>As Ryan left the room, the crowd erupted in more questions and criticisms.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You seem to be disrespecting\u2013&#8221; another employee can be heard shouting before the video ends.<\/p>\n<p>The news of the downsizing comes as the Post faces backlash for the characterization of journalists Bari Weiss and Matt Taibbi as &#8220;conservative.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Taibbi, who previously worked for Rolling Stone, and Weiss, who was an editor at The New York Times, have both shared many left-leaning views in the past, however, they both are now under fire from the left for their documentation of the &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/breaking-twitter-files-part-two-released-exposing-secret-blacklists\">Twitter Files<\/a>,&#8221; the internal documents shared by Twitter owner Elon Musk showing the tech giant taking massive steps to suppress and censor conservatives and politically-inconvenient news, such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/breaking-elon-musk-releases-files-on-twitters-censorship-of-hunter-biden-laptop-story\">Hunter Biden laptop story<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/technology\/2022\/12\/12\/musk-twitter-harass-yoel-roth\/\">now-edited article<\/a>, The Post labeled the two as &#8220;conservative journalists&#8221; for reporting on the \u201cTwitter Files,\u201d reports the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/12\/13\/wapo-stealth-edit-bari-weiss-matt-taibbi\/\">Daily Caller.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As head of trust and safety at Twitter, Roth was involved in many of the platform&#8217;s decisions about what posts to remove and what accounts to suspend,&#8221; WaPo wrote. &#8220;His communications with other Twitter officials have been posted in recent days as part of what Musk calls the Twitter Files, a series of tweets by conservative journalists Matt Taibbi and Bari Weiss.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Walter Kirn, Taibbi&#8217;s &#8220;America This Week&#8221;
