Ross Gerber, a longtime backer of Tesla and the head of Gerber Kawasaki Wealth and Investment Management, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GerberKawasaki\/status\/1602472214535671808\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">asked<\/a> who is running the automaker on a day-to-basis during the \u201ccritical time\u201d for the company.<\/p>\n<p>A handful of high-profile left-wing social media users have <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/heathercampbell\/status\/1602168483038760960\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">posted<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mkarolian\/status\/1602317378494373890\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">screenshots<\/a> of their canceled Tesla Cybertruck preorders, informing the company that Musk\u2019s acquisition of Twitter motivated their decisions.<\/p>\n<p>Net favorability of Tesla among Democrats decreased 20.3% between October and November, the time frame of Musk\u2019s Twitter purchase, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/morningconsult.com\/2022\/11\/17\/elon-musks-politically-polarizing-effect\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">survey<\/a> from Morning Consult. On the other hand, net favorability among Republicans increased 5.5% over the same period.
