Mike Lee (R-Utah) kicked off CPAC by saying the government should work for us, not the other way around. Lee made those remarks during the opening speech of the annual conference in Orlando on Friday, claiming the Bill of Rights and our freedoms are under attack.<\/p>\n<p>He cited the government\u2019s closure of schools, churches and workplaces due to COVID-19, saying it impedes on our right to assemble.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">&#8220;We&#8217;re here because we as a group choose liberty.
