When I saw David Bowie in\u00a0\u2018The Man Who Fell to Earth,\u2019 I realized I needed to do something, so I became an actor,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Cage is no stranger to finding himself in the middle of, well, <em>strange<\/em> stories \u2014 it was revealed in a New York Post <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/03\/23\/nicolas-cages-wild-menagerie-included-a-two-headed-snake\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">article<\/a> published earlier this year that the Oscar-winning actor had once owned a two-headed snake and enjoyed the fact that his pet crow insulted him when he left the room.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cNational Treasure\u201d actor explained he had bought the two-headed reptile for $80,000 after dreaming about an eagle with two heads \u2014 but because the two heads fought over food, he eventually donated it to the Audubon Zoo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBoth heads were fully functional and capable of swallowing. We had to take turns feeding each head and place a rubber spatula between the heads to prevent one head from fighting over the other head\u2019s food,\u201d Robert Mendyk, curator of herpetology at the zoo, explained to the Post.<\/p>\n<p>As for the crow, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/entertainment-arts\/awards\/story\/2022-01-26\/nicolas-cage-on-pig-elvis-dracula-and-his-career\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cage says<\/a> Hoogan talks \u2014 and he\u2019s not very complimentary: \u201cWhen I leave the room, he\u2019ll go \u2018bye\u2019 and then go, \u2018A**.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hollywood legend Nicolas Cage revealed in a recent interview that, as a child, he had truly believed that he was from another planet.
