There are a lot of people who are like, \u2018Where do you go?\u2019 You can\u2019t talk to a therapist. You can only really talk to someone who\u2019s going through it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He shared that despite being \u201cin shape and taking care of myself,\u201d it\u2019s \u201csomething where either you\u2019re either lucky or not.\u201d<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\u201cMusic has always been there in the toughest of times.\u201d<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RATMofficial?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@RATMofficial<\/a>\u2019s Tim Commerford reveals his private battle with prostate cancer<\/p>\n<p>Read the full interview here: <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/IM9OboSuYI\">https:\/\/t.co\/IM9OboSuYI<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 SPIN (@SPIN) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SPIN\/status\/1602321367965261826?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 12, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI hope there\u2019s one person who reads this and is like, \u2018f***, I need to get checked out\u2019 when they find out about it,\u201d the Rage band member said.<\/p>\n<p>Commerford also admitted he\u2019s done his best to keep a positive attitude since his diagnosis, but said it\u2019s been challenging.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhatever it is, it makes me wonder if it\u2019s happening because I have cancer, and prostate cancer is a very, very, very tough one because it\u2019s connected to your sexuality,\u201d the rocker shared. \u201cIt\u2019s hard to disconnect from that and when you\u2019re forced into that situation, it\u2019s a brutal psychological journey.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve been trying to find support groups, and it\u2019s hard to find people and hard to talk about it,\u201d he added. \u201cThe suffering part of it, the physical suffering after the surgery, I\u2019ve never felt pain quite like that. I have metal plates in my head and cadaver parts in my body.
