None of the above.<\/p>\n<p>Pollsters with the CNBC All-America Economic Survey asked if President Joe Biden or former President Donald Trump should run again. The resounding <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2022\/12\/09\/majority-of-americans-dont-want-biden-or-trump-to-run-again-in-2024-cnbc-survey-shows.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">answer<\/a> for both: No.<\/p>\n<p>The survey found that 61% of the public thinks Trump should not run again (even though he has already announced his bid). And even more (70%) said Biden shouldn\u2019t run for a second term \u2014 just 19% want him to go again.<\/p>\n<p>For Trump, 37% of Republicans don\u2019t want him to run again; 61% of independents and 88% of Democrats agree.<\/p>\n<p>Again, worse for Biden: 57% of Democrats said No Joe in \u201924, along with 66% of independents and 86% of Republicans.<\/p>\n<p>The poll found that 47% of those who don\u2019t think Biden should run cited age as a major reason, including 61% of Democrats and 66% of seniors, CNBC reported. The younger set was different: just 43% of the 18-49 demographic group cite age as a major reason for Biden, 80, not to run.<\/p>\n<p>Biden also isn\u2019t faring too well with the bookies \u2014 who, unlike pollsters, actually put their money where their mouths are.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBiden\u2019s crushed approval ratings and worsening betting odds are causing Democrats to wonder if he is the right figure to take on Trump in 2024,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gambling.com\/us\">said<\/a> Joe Short of Gambling.com. \u201cAccording to the Wall Street Journal, Democrats expect him to go for a second term at the age of 82, but they\u2019re not sure he should.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo make matters even worse for Biden, he is now third favorite to win the 2024 US Presidential election, behind both Trump (3\/1) and Florida\u2019s Republican governor Ron DeSantis (4\/1),\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Short said that Biden initially appeared willing to cede power to his Vice President Kamala Harris after just one term, but she\u2019s not faring too well to bookies, either. She has \u201cfloated way out to 12\/1 with bet365 to be the next U.S. president. Evidently, punters and U.K. bookmakers are looking no further than Biden when it comes to Democratic names in 2024.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2019s odds of serving until January 20, 2025, are \u201cat their worst since November 2021, as betting sites maintain a level of uncertainty over the veteran\u2019s longevity in the White House.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBiden\u2019s first 18 months as president have been dogged by political issues at home and abroad. America has come out of the COVID-19 pandemic more divided than ever, and a cost of living crisis is beginning to pinch,\u201d Short said. \u201cBetting apps have dropped their odds on the president being ousted before his first four years have elapsed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to political betting sites, Biden is \u201cnow 7\/4 to lose his job before 2024.
