Royal followers expected the series to be more critical of the royal family, especially after their explosive tell-all interview with Oprah in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The trailer for the second half has those followers excited to see what\u2019s next.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Meghan: &#8220;I wasn&#8217;t being thrown to the wolves, I was being FED to the wolves.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Harry: &#8220;They were happy to lie to protect my brother. They were never willing to tell the truth to protect us&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>A new trailer for the dramatic second half of <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/netflix?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@Netflix<\/a>&#8216;s Harry &#038; Meghan, out Thursday. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/uls0DaV2Th\">pic.twitter.com\/uls0DaV2Th<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Omid Scobie (@scobie) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/scobie\/status\/1602276435489587200?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 12, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur security was being pulled. Everyone in the world knew where we were,\u201d Meghan is heard saying in the clip.<\/p>\n<p>Prince Harry says, \u201cWe are on the freedom flight,\u201d as footage plays of what looks like the couple boarding a flight for the United States.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Duke of Sussex also mentions \u201cinstitutional gaslighting\u201d just before a clip of Meghan saying, \u201cI wasn\u2019t being thrown to the wolves, I was being fed to the wolves.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey were happy to lie to protect my brother. They were never willing to tell the truth to protect us,\u201d Harry says of his older brother, Prince William, who is currently first in line for the British throne.<\/p>\n<p>The trailer also includes clips of media coverage and personal footage of the Sussex family enjoying themselves, including footage of the couple playing outside and walking through a corn maze with their children.<\/p>\n<p>Though most fans weren\u2019t shocked or impressed by \u201cHarry &#038; Meghan,\u201d one clip making the rounds has many royal followers furious for what they say is a blatant lack of respect from the Duchess of Sussex. In it, Meghan demonstrates how she curtsied for the queen when they first met, but her overall demeanor is seen as mocking and disrespectful to the late Queen Elizabeth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe ultimate betrayal,\u201d Tory MP Mark Jenkinson <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/ultimate-betrayal-meghan-markle-slammed-for-mocking-exaggerated-bow-toward-late-queen\">shared on Twitter<\/a>. \u201cAnd [Prince Harry] just sits and watches.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Things have been strained between Harry and his family since he stepped down as a senior royal and moved to America with Meghan. He spoke about his feelings at length during the Oprah interview.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat feeling of being trapped within the family, there was no option to leave,\u201d Prince Harry <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/report-prince-charles-boiling-with-anger-over-prince-harrys-latest-tell-all-interview-nothing-is-off-limits\">told Oprah<\/a> in 2021. \u201cEventually when I made that decision for my family, I was still told, \u2018You can\u2019t do this.\u2019 And it\u2019s like, \u2018Well, how bad does it have to get until I am allowed to do this?\u2019 [Markle] was going to end her life. It shouldn\u2019t have to get to that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s incredibly triggering to potentially lose another woman in my life. Like the list is growing, and it all comes back to the same people, the same business model \u2014 the same industry,\u201d he continued, referring to Princess Diana\u2019s death.
