On Thursday, Facebook <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2021\/02\/25\/facebook-bans-myanmars-military-on-fb-instagram-platforms-over-coup.html\">banned the Myanmar military<\/a> from using its platform, including Instagram. The social media giant accused officials of staging a coup and inciting violence.<\/p>\n<p>Facebook also moved to de-platform several commercial companies in Myanmar by accusing them of having ties to the military.
