At the social media firm, Baker was \u201cworking with the FBI\u201d and \u201csuppressing\u201d the New York Post\u2019s reporting about the Hunter Biden laptop scandal, an issue which had an impact on the 2020 presidential election, Davis stated.<\/p>\n<p>Twitter\u2019s new management under Musk had selected two journalists to make some of the controversial internal emails public. The first batch of these \u201cTwitter Files\u201d was published on Dec. 2. More files were supposed to be released. However, as this got delayed, one of the journalists, Matt Taibbi, revealed in a series of tweets that the reason for the delay was Baker.<\/p>\n<p>The first batch of Twitter Files was vetted by Baker \u201cwithout the knowledge of the new management,\u201d Taibbi said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mtaibbi\/status\/1600243756074049537\">tweet<\/a>. \u201cThe news that Baker was reviewing the \u2018Twitter files\u2019 surprised everyone involved, to say the least. New Twitter chief Elon Musk acted quickly to \u2018exit\u2019 Baker Tuesday.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>During the NTD interview, Davis pointed out that Baker\u2019s involvement in vetting the Twitter Files means there was a \u201cconflict of interest\u201d where he is reviewing his own files that are damaging to him personally, and thus, working against his clients. \u201cAnd if that\u2019s the case, he faces serious ethics charges as an attorney for Twitter,\u201d Davis said.<\/p>\n<p>Taibbi released the third volume of \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/elon-musk-exposes-twitters-censorship-of-former-president-donald-trump_4915308.html\">Twitter Files<\/a>\u201d Friday exposing the censorship and deplatforming of former President Donald Trump.<\/p>\n<h2>FBI\u2013Big Tech Censorship<\/h2>\n<p>Davis also raised the possibility of Baker being part of the 51 former intelligence officials who came out to dismiss the New York Post story about Hunter Biden as a Russian hoax.
