trouble sleeping, I do not recommend trying to read Dr. Anthony Fauci\u2019s 363-page testimony in a federal lawsuit about how U.S. government officials colluded with Big Tech to censor online speech about COVID.<\/p>\n<p>It is positively soporific to parse Fauci saying, \u201cI don\u2019t recall\u201d over and over again in response to questions ranging from the research he was funding at the Wuhan lab to whether his inspiration for lockdowns came from China.\u00a0 In all, President Biden\u2019s Chief Medical Advisor <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Eric_Schmitt\/status\/1599853199703552000\">drew a blank<\/a> on a couple hundred occasions <a href=\"https:\/\/katv.com\/news\/nation-world\/missouri-louisiana-ags-release-full-transcript-of-faucis-november-deposition-covid-19-big-tech-social-media-online-misinformation-biden-administration-lawsuit-nov-23-attorney-generals-national-institutes-of-health-nih-cdc-coronavirus-pandemic-whuan-lab\">during his late-November deposition<\/a> detailing crucial government efforts during the earliest days of the pandemic\u00a0 It was an amazing display of total recall \u2014 in reverse \u2014 all from being put under oath by Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry and Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Despite tap-dancing around many of the questions, Fauci did dish some disturbing truths:<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Made in China Lockdowns<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>In February 2020, Fauci sent one of his<strong> <\/strong>deputies, Dr. Cliff Lane, to China to understand how authorities were responding to early COVID cases.\u00a0 Lane <a href=\"https:\/\/brownstone.org\/articles\/what-happened-on-the-junket-to-china-in-february-2020\/\">came back<\/a> with a glowing report on how Beijing\u2019s \u201cextreme measures\u201d were effective in eradicating COVID, reporting that \u201cChina has demonstrated this infection can be controlled, albeit at great cost.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/12\/wuhan-institue-of-virology.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/12\/wuhan-institue-of-virology.jpg?w=1024\" alt=\"Fauci repeatedly insisted that theories suggesting the virus was Eventually his own colleagues proved him wrong and Fauci admitted under oath that it was a possibility.<\/figcaption><figcaption><span class=\"credit\">REUTERS<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cWhen we got there, the outbreak was already coming under control in China,\u201d Lane claimed on the basis of presentations by Communist officials.\u00a0 \u201cThe measures they put in place appear to be working.\u2026 we may have to go to as extreme a degree of social distancing to help bring our outbreak under control.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Neither Lane nor Fauci questioned whether the officials who painted this glowing picture of success were telling them the truth (they weren\u2019t).\u00a0 Instead, convinced that lockdowns were the only way to go, Fauci set out to crush COVID in the same manner.<\/p>\n<p>Fauci\u2019s wasn\u2019t following the science; he was falling for PRC propaganda \u2014 and Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2><strong>Don\u2019t Upset China<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Fauci claims in his deposition that the suggestion that the virus was man made was nothing more than \u201cwild, wild speculations and accusations.\u201d It greatly upset him, he says, but for a very noble reason.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He was \u201cafraid\u201d that \u201cblaming the Chinese\u201d for the outbreak would \u201cincrease tensions and reduce cooperation\u201d with Beijing that was absolutely necessary to prevent future pandemics and get to the bottom of this one. In other words, if we suggest that the virus came from a Wuhan lab, then China won\u2019t let us investigate \u2026 whether it came from a Wuhan lab.\u00a0 Really?<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The truth is that Beijing was never going to let us into the lab where, in all likelihood, the Sars-Cov-2 virus was born.\u00a0 Regardless of how diplomatic we are.<\/p>\n<p>Fauci, of course, has always had another reason to deflect attention away from the Wuhan institute of Virology: He had been funding, <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/04\/01\/research-group-funded-by-faucis-nih-reportedly-worked-to-cast-doubt-on-lab-leak-theory\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">through EcoHealth Alliance<\/a>, coronavirus research at that very lab.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It wasn\u2019t just China that he feared would be blamed \u2014 it was Fauci himself.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>It\u2019s a Conspiracy Theory!<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Fauci has frequently denounced, in the shrillest terms, those of us who have suggested that COVID came from the lab in Wuhan.<\/p>\n<p>When Newt Gingrich asked Fauci, on a February 9, 2020 podcast, about the possibility of a lab origin, he erupted:\u00a0 \u201cI heard these conspiracy theories and like all conspiracy theories, Newt, they\u2019re just conspiracy theories.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s three \u201cconspiracy theories\u201d in one sentence.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Much of the November deposition concerned the role that Fauci played in organizing a group of evolutionary virologists to draft an article for publication in <em>Nature<\/em> condemning the possibility of a lab origin as a\u00a0 \u201cconspiracy theory.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Evidence that the coronavirus may have been engineered was left out of the article because, as one co-author noted, it would make them look like \u201cloons.\u201d (Actually, leaving out the evidence that the virus was genetically engineered makes them look like frauds.)<\/p>\n<p>The truth, which Fauci under oath now admits is possible, is that the virus is almost certainly a lab product.\u00a0 We first learned this from Chinese dissident scientist Dr. Yan Limeng, but it has now been confirmed by<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/12\/03\/scientist-with-ny-non-profit-tied-to-wuhan-lab-says-covid-man-made-virus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> EcoHealth Alliance insider Dr. Andrew Huff,<\/a> along with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.help.senate.gov\/imo\/media\/doc\/report_an_analysis_of_the_origins_of_covid-19_102722.pdf\">a Collusion on COVID<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Although Fauci claims that he never personally contacted social media companies to ask for posts to be taken down, he admitted under oath to having had 13 different conversations with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg in 2020 alone. And it turns out that Fauci\u2019s own daughter was employed by Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>Missouri Attorney General Schmitt said the deposition makes \u201cclear that when Dr. Fauci speaks, social media censors. \u2026and exactly how the COVID tyranny that ruined lives and destroyed businesses was born.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry <a href=\"https:\/\/ago.mo.gov\/home\/news\/2022\/12\/05\/missouri-louisiana-release-full-fauci-deposition-transcript\">pointed out<\/a> an even bigger issue, that Fauci\u2019s testimony \u201cconfirmed\u201d that \u201csocial media companies want to control not only what you think, but especially what you say.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, it appears as if the government <a href=\"https:\/\/www.humanevents.com\/hedaily\/dhs-leaks-feds-ran-cognitive-infrastructure-operations\">wants to control the \u201ccognitive infrastructure\u201d of the U.S<\/a>., according to a recent DHS leak, and has enlisted Big Tech as a willing ally in this take-over of the very decision-making abilities that truly render us human.<\/p>\n<p>The result: You will have no original thoughts about COVID or anything else.\u00a0 But you will be happy.<\/p>\n<p><em>Steven W.
