Confirmation of this meddling came during a <a href=\"https:\/\/ago.mo.gov\/docs\/default-source\/press-releases\/doc-144-2---exhibit-a-chan.pdf?sfvrsn=2fc3c6f6_2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">deposition<\/a> with FBI Supervisory Special Agent Elvis Chan which stemmed from a Big Tech censorship lawsuit from Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt and Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry.<\/p>\n<p>In his testimony, Chan <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Eric_Schmitt\/status\/1600235865078632448\/photo\/2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">admitted<\/a> that intelligence agencies such as the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Department of Homeland Security, and the FBI hosted weekly meetings with Big Tech ahead of the 2020 election in an attempt to encourage censorship. Chan was present and gave direction at most of these meetings.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat I said was although we have not seen any computer intrusions into national-level political committees or election officials or presidential candidates at this time, we ask you to remain vigilant about the potential for hack-and-dump operations, or something to that effect,\u201d Chan testified.<\/p>\n<p>This established pipeline of \u201cstrategic information\u201d gave Big Tech companies a scapegoat to justify their suppression of content they deemed \u201cdisinformation\u201d \u2014 including the Hunter Biden laptop story.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"567\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Screen-Shot-2022-12-07-at-9.33.38-AM-1024x567-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-284368\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Screen-Shot-2022-12-07-at-9.33.38-AM-1024x567-1.png 1024w, https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Screen-Shot-2022-12-07-at-9.33.38-AM-300x166.png 300w, https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Screen-Shot-2022-12-07-at-9.33.38-AM-768x425-1.png 768w, https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Screen-Shot-2022-12-07-at-9.33.38-AM.png 1134w\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>It was around that same time that the FBI began funneling information about \u201cdomestic disinformation campaigns in the 2020 election cycle\u201d to Big Tech censors for removal. Nearly two years after Big Tech collectively stifled the spread of Hunter\u2019s sketchy overseas business dealings, Zuckerberg admitted it was the FBI\u2019s regular suppression instructions that inspired Facebook to reduce the distribution of posts about Biden family corruption.<\/p>\n<p>Not only did Chan put the censors at Silicon Valley giants on notice \u201cabout a potential for hack-and-dump operations from the Russians and the Iranians on more than one occasion,\u201d but so did several other senior intelligence officials.<\/p>\n<p>It was during one of these routine meetings that Chan said Facebook asked the FBI if it \u201chas any information they could share about the Hunter Biden investigation.\u201d The FBI declined to answer.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"530\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Screen-Shot-2022-12-07-at-8.21.46-AM-1024x530-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-284365\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Screen-Shot-2022-12-07-at-8.21.46-AM-1024x530-1.png 1024w, https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Screen-Shot-2022-12-07-at-8.21.46-AM-300x155.png 300w, https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Screen-Shot-2022-12-07-at-8.21.46-AM-768x398-1.png 768w, https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Screen-Shot-2022-12-07-at-8.21.46-AM.png 1124w\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>Chan\u2019s denial that the FBI ever discussed Hunter Biden with Big Tech companies directly contradicts testimony from Yoel Roth, the former head of trust and safety at Twitter. <\/p>\n<p>In December 2020, Roth <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fec.gov\/files\/legal\/murs\/7827\/7827_08.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">declared to the Federal Election Commission<\/a> that Twitter throttled the New York Post\u2019s reporting about Hunter Biden\u2019s laptop because it \u201ccould have been obtained through hacking, based on, among other things, the type of material, the sourcing described in the articles, and the information security community\u2019s initial reactions.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was told in these meetings that the intelligence community expected that individuals associated with political campaigns would be subject to hacking attacks and that material obtained through those hacking attacks would likely be disseminated over social media platforms, including Twitter,\u201d Roth testified. \u201cI also learned in these meetings that there were rumors that a hack-and-leak operation would involve Hunter Biden.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Chan, however, denied during his deposition that Roth was referencing the FBI\u2019s collusion meetings with Big Tech. After years of unchecked censorship and suppression, in coordination with the feds, lawmakers, and the White House, those defenses couldn\u2019t be further from the truth. <\/p>\n<p>Chan\u2019s testimony, combined with admissions from Silicon Valley\u2019s top censors, demonstrates that the speech-stifling objectives and actions of Big Tech and the government are indistinguishable. Big Tech is so in sync with big brother that the former reliably does the bidding of the latter \u2014 increasingly without even needing to be asked.
