JOIN US.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe holdup over the years has been that it\u2019s a hard thing for me to let go of,\u201d Shelton <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/12\/07\/blake-shelton-on-why-hes-quitting-the-voice-to-do-nothing\/#!\">said<\/a> after being on the show for more than a decade. \u201cI\u2019ve been here literally since the first minute. When I started on \u2018The Voice,\u2019 that was 10 years into my career as a country artist. I never really made it to the A-level of country artists until I became a coach. The show did a hell of a lot more for me than I brought to the table at the time. I\u2019ve far exceeded anything I thought I could ever accomplish in the entertainment world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said that he is prioritizing Stefani, who is seven years older than him, and the three boys.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf I walked away from my career at this time, the only thing that I run the risk of is having regrets that I\u2019m missing out on some more important things in life. For now, that\u2019s our kids. This isn\u2019t about me anymore and never will be again,\u201d he said.\u00a0\u201cEven though I\u2019m a stepparent, I take that job very seriously. The kids see me as a very important person in their life. [When they ask,] \u2018Why isn\u2019t Blake here?\u2019 I take that stuff to heart. I\u2019ve made plenty of money, but you can\u2019t buy time back. I don\u2019t want any regrets.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stefani said last month that before she met Shelton, she had resigned herself to a life of loneliness following her divorce.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGod just put us together. It was like one of those miracle situations where I didn\u2019t see it coming,\u201d Stefani <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/gwen-stefani-thought-life-was-over-before-blake-shelton-god-just-put-us-together\">said<\/a>. \u201cI was like, \u2018I\u2019m gonna wake up every day. I\u2019m gonna have a coffee. I\u2019m gonna take care of my kids, and then I\u2019m gonna go to bed.\u2019 Like I\u2019m never gonna kiss anyone. I thought my life was over, and then Blake Shelton was like, \u2018Hey.
