Nevertheless, there is a silver lining to the sluggish economy: Corporate diversity consultants and left-wing hack journalists are getting fired at a rapid clip.<\/p>\n<p>Major tech companies such as Meta, Amazon, and Twitter have cut thousands of jobs over the past several weeks. <em>Fortune<\/em> magazine <a href=\"https:\/\/fortune.com\/2022\/11\/16\/tech-layoffs-human-resources-diversity-dei-teams\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reports<\/a> that these layoffs are &#8220;decimating human resources and diversity teams.&#8221; That&#8217;s great news for America.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, for example, the ride-hailing company Lyft cut 13 percent of its workforce. Hannah Said,\u00a0the firm&#8217;s &#8220;Diversity and Inclusion Business Partner,&#8221;\u00a0announced that she was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/posts\/hannahsaid_lyft-laidoff-opentowork-activity-6993977440360439808-GnJn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fired<\/a> along with the &#8220;majority&#8221; of her department. In that role, according to her LinkedIn profile, Said &#8220;strategically influenced Talent Acquisition\/Recruitment through equitable hiring trainings, outreach and engagement activations, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Councils,&#8221; among other things.<\/p>\n<p>Dalana Brand, the &#8220;Chief of People and Diversity&#8221; at Twitter, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DalanaBrand\/status\/1587438196861853696\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">resigned<\/a> shortly after immigrant billionaire Elon Musk took over the social networking website and started firing people, including several leaders of the company&#8217;s diversity-focused employee resource groups. Musk also reportedly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2022-11-04\/twitter-upheaval-hits-diversity-ranks-in-setback-of-recent-gains\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dissolved<\/a> &#8220;the entire human rights team.&#8221; Whatever that means.<\/p>\n<p>Media companies are also firing employees. BuzzFeed on Tuesday <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/media\/report-buzzfeed-to-layoff-12-of-workforce\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a> it was cutting about 12 percent of its workforce. NPR <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2022\/11\/30\/1139888190\/npr-budget-shortfall-20-million\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced<\/a> a hiring freeze in an effort to cut $10 million from its annual budget. Newspaper chain Gannett has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.poynter.org\/business-work\/2022\/gannett-initiates-another-round-of-layoffs-cutting-its-news-division-by-6\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fired<\/a>\u00a0600 employees since August. CNN has fired a number of <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/media\/another-partisan-hack-just-lost-his-job-at-cnn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">partisan hacks<\/a>, including conference call masturbator <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/media\/toobin-gets-off\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jeffrey Toobin<\/a>, and announced last week that hundreds more were likely to be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2022\/11\/30\/media\/cnn-layoffs\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">terminated<\/a> in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Biden&#8217;s presidency is certainly one of the saddest moments in American history, which is why it is so important to highlight these silver linings.
