According to the company\u2019s owner, Dana Peters, the mega financial technology corporation is withholding funds from Proof Products USA\u2019s subsidiary metal fabric shop, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/milspin.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Milspin<\/a>,\u201d until the online store removes several listings of brass knuckles. In a press release, Proof Products USA stated that it \u201cwill not comply.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In an email Peters shared with The Federalist, PayPal reportedly wrote, \u201cA recent review of your account activity identified products\/services on your website violate\u00a0PayPal\u2019s Acceptable Use Policy. Specifically, brass paperweight\u201d is Brass knuckles are not allowed. are associated with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/milspin.com\/collections\/solid-metal-paperweights\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/milspin.com\/collections\/solid-metal-paperweights<\/a>\u00a0and are not permitted on our platform (sic).\u201d The email continues, stating that Proof Product USA\u2019s \u201caccount has been limited temporarily\u201d and that to resolve the issue Proof Products USA must either \u201cremove\u201d the brass knuckles listings or \u201cremove or deactivate\u00a0PayPal\u00a0as a payment option for the violating items outlined above.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This isn\u2019t the first time PayPal has allegedly withheld funds from Proof Products USA. In 2021, Peters said that PayPal kept $90,000 from \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/fakemaskworldwide.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fake Masks Worldwide<\/a>,\u201d a different subsidiary online store of Proof Products USA, for selling \u201cbreathable masks.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fake Masks Worldwide wrote in a November, 23rd press release: \u201cThe left leaning meat wallet organization of\u00a0PayPal strikes again. They want us to delete all the products they don\u2019t agree with from our website. So they\u2019ve locked the account and are withholding all funds until we comply. We will not comply. Nerds. Any orders that were paid for via\u00a0PayPal\u00a0will still be fulfilled, because we aren\u2019t thieves and we put our customers first, unlike\u00a0PayPal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Peters says PayPal never stated what rule exactly Proof Products USA violated in either instance. \u201cI dug really deep into their terms last year,\u201d Peters told The Federalist. \u201c[PayPal\u2019s rules] are so vaguely written that it could be one of a dozen different things that would violate their terms.
