They also insulate him from inquiry because reporters see him as an ally, not a target for investigation.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"\" class=\"image-blog_image_50_ img-fluid blog-img\" data-insert-attach=\"{\" id \/> The 92-year-old philanthropist\u2019s multimillion-dollar efforts promoting his bizarre \u201copen society\u201d agenda encompass some of the most radical leftist ideas on abortion, Marxist economics, anti-Americanism, defunding the police, environmental extremism and LGBT fanaticism.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>His global media clout is massive. An extensive analysis by MRC Business discovered at least 253 news and activist media organizations across the world financed by Soros\u2019 philanthropic organizations. These groups wield massive power over information in international politics.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This report is the first in a three-part series that reveals the extent of the reach Soros wields over international media to influence the world population. Soros <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbusters.org\/blogs\/business\/joseph-vazquez\/2019\/10\/28\/george-soros-ny-times-im-trying-bend-arc-history-right\">once told<\/a> <em>The New York Times <\/em>that he was working to \u201cbend\u201d the arc of history \u201cin the right direction.\u201d He means it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project Syndicate: A Global Soros-Funded Behemoth<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There is no publication that exemplifies Soros\u2019 hold on the global media more than Project Syndicate, self-dubbed \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.project-syndicate.org\/\">The World\u2019s Opinion Page.<\/a>\u201d<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A Global Propaganda Operation. <\/strong>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.project-syndicate.org\/about\">publication boasts<\/a> a \u201cglobal audience\u201d that includes \u201cprominent politicians, policymakers, scholars, business leaders, and civic activists from six continents\u201d and \u201cover <a href=\"https:\/\/syndication.project-syndicate.org\/\">140 heads of state<\/a>.\u201d Project Syndicate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.project-syndicate.org\/about\">claimed<\/a> its commentaries appeared an amazing 20,393 times in 156 countries in 2021 alone. Soros\u2019 OSF funneled at least <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opensocietyfoundations.org\/grants\/past?filter_keyword=Project+Syndicate\">$1,532,105<\/a> to Project Syndicate between 2016 and 2020. The outlet promoted everything from abortion to global climate lockdowns to hatred against Israel. It also influences White House propaganda.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Poynter Institute: A Global Soros-Backed Ministry of Truth<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Poynter Institute has devolved from a premier outlet for journalistic training to another leftist media outlet.\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Poynter Is Soros\u2019 \u2018Gold Standard\u2019 for Liberal Journalism Gatekeeping. <\/strong>Poynter sells itself as a \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.poynter.org\/about\/\">global leader in journalism<\/a>\u201d and as the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.poynter.org\/aboutbowtieball\/\">gold standard<\/a>\u201d to emphasize its influence. Soros gave <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opensocietyfoundations.org\/grants\/past?filter_keyword=Poynter+Institute+for+Media\">$492,000<\/a> to finance Poynter\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbusters.org\/blogs\/free-speech\/joseph-vazquez\/2022\/01\/18\/liberal-funded-global-fact-checking-network-decries\">leftist<\/a> International Fact-Checking Network between 2016 and 2020. The network works with 100 so-called fact-checking organizations worldwide, distinguishing itself as a de facto Ministry of Truth. Poynter\u2019s fact-checking operation restricts opinions on issues like abortion, \u201ctransgenderism,\u201d COVID-19 and Marxist economics. IFCN signatories like Lead Stories, Poynter\u2019s own PolitiFact and Agence-France Presse, actively work with Big Tech platforms like Facebook and its sister company Instagram to boost their \u201cfact-checking\u201d operations to censor users.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>openDemocracy: Soros\u2019 Leftist Global Journalism Operation\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Through the leftist U.K.-based openDemocracy, Soros works to control journalism worldwide.\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>openDemocracy Is a Cesspool of Leftist Extremism. <\/strong>OSF gave at least <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opensocietyfoundations.org\/grants\/past?filter_keyword=openDemocracy&#038;grant_id=OR2019-60287\">$1,633,457<\/a> to openDemocracy between 2016 and 2020. The outlet pushes extreme leftist content masquerading as journalism. It pushes to silence conservative speech.\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Liberal Media Props Up Free Press\u2019 Anti-American Mission. <\/strong>Free Press boasted how it <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freepress.net\/2021-annual-report-year-big-challenges-and-remarkable-progress\">received<\/a> \u201c3,200 press hits in places including the Associated Press, Bloomberg, CNN, Democracy Now!, The Guardian, The Los Angeles Times, MSNBC, NPR, Poynter and Wired\u201d in 2021. Leftist Free Press co-founder <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freepress.net\/about\/board\">Robert W. McChesney<\/a> made a Marxist <a href=\"https:\/\/monthlyreview.org\/2000\/11\/01\/journalism-democracy-and-class-struggle\/\">call<\/a> to action in 2000 to \u201cmake media reform part of our broader struggle for democracy, social justice, and, dare we say it, socialism.\u201d\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Media Democracy Fund: A Soros-Funded Gargantuan Dedicated to Woke \u2018Social Justice\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Soros-funded Media Democracy Fund is a dark money operation at \u201cthe crossroads of digital technology and social justice.\u201d<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Media Democracy Fund Is a Money-Spewing Cog in Soros\u2019 Sphere of Influence. <\/strong>It received <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opensocietyfoundations.org\/grants\/past?filter_keyword=Media+Democracy+Fund&#038;grant_id=OR2016-29076\">$3,520,000<\/a> from Soros\u2019 OSF between 2016 and 2020.
