That\u2019s a huge reveal, showing the collusion to shut down things that could hurt Joe Biden. I <a href=\"https:\/\/redstate.com\/nick-arama\/2022\/12\/03\/the-pathetic-new-liberal-cope-to-the-twitter-suppression-bombshells-who-the-real-victim-is-n668257\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote earlier<\/a> how the cope on the left about the release of the Twitter suppression files seems to be to cast Hunter Biden as the victim of that mean, evil Elon Musk.<\/p>\n<p>But there\u2019s another way that the liberal media is dealing with it. It\u2019s the way that they commonly deal with things that might hurt Democrats.<\/p>\n<p>They\u2019re ignoring it and pretending it isn\u2019t worth covering. My colleague Bob Hoge hit <a href=\"https:\/\/redstate.com\/bobhoge\/2022\/12\/03\/the-real-threat-to-democracy-dems-colluded-with-twitter-to-affect-the-outcome-of-the-2020-election-and-the-media-doesnt-care-n668230\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">on some of this on Friday night<\/a>, and the national liberal media is still largely missing any coverage the next day.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Yep, I checked. As of 9:45am this morning, not a single mention of the Twitter revelations on the main pages of \u2066<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/nytimes?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">@nytimes<\/a>\u2069 or \u2066<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/washingtonpost?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">@washingtonpost<\/a>\u2069. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/SNb5F2hd5U\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pic.twitter.com\/SNb5F2hd5U<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Athan Koutsiouroumbas (@Athan_K) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Athan_K\/status\/1599053292163792897?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">December 3, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I saw virtually no major national liberal media coverage with a quick Google search of \u201cElon Musk Twitter files.\u201d The Washington Post seems to have \u201cdemocracy dying in the darkness\u201d; they had nothing on it. The NY Times was also missing any coverage. Nothing from Reuters or the AP. NBC had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/tech\/tech-news\/elon-musk-promotes-release-internal-twitter-documents-rehashing-platfo-rcna59897\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">one story<\/a> that mostly downplayed it and claimed it was \u201crehashing\u201d old ground. There was coverage from Fox News and the New York Post. Perhaps surprisingly, no Wall Street Journal coverage; one might have hoped they would cover it.<\/p>\n<p>But heck, why would you expect journalism from liberal media at this point? That\u2019s one of the other, big problems this whole story has revealed \u2014 they suppress by what they choose to cover and not cover. Most of America isn\u2019t on Twitter and likely isn\u2019t going to see the release. While we certainly have covered the Hunter Biden laptop in significant detail, the liberal media has not; they\u2019ve scrupulously ignored the parts that involved Joe Biden, foreign compromise, and influence peddling.<\/p>\n<p>For many people, they may think the laptop is only about Hunter\u2019s crack-smoking\/prostitute-engaging moments because that\u2019s all the media has suggested it is. If the liberal media says anything, they paint it as a \u201cRepublicans pounce\u201d situation about<a href=\"https:\/\/redstate.com\/nick-arama\/2022\/12\/03\/the-pathetic-new-liberal-cope-to-the-twitter-suppression-bombshells-who-the-real-victim-is-n668257\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> poor Hunter Biden\u2019s problems<\/a>. He\u2019s the victim and\/or \u201che\u2019s not elected to anything.\u201d Let\u2019s just ignore what he said about \u201cRussian blackmail,\u201d the connections to China, or Joe Biden\u2019s involvement in it.
