See, they\u2019ve always been above board, trying to hold people to account, right? Wasn\u2019t that your experience watching CNN for the past six years?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Holmes said during 2016, after Trump became president, he stopped making appearances on the network because he said he would be \u201ccastigated\u201d on air if a person didn\u2019t slam the administration.<\/p>\n<p>The former Fox News host then played a long clip of comments Lemon made that contradicted his claim that he\u2019s only ever shown \u201cgood journalism\u201d and that he advocated for exchanges where people could \u201cdisagree without being disagreeable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>WATCH:<\/strong><\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s one party, right now that\u2019s not operating in fact,\u201d Lemon said, \u201cthat has been misleading people and that is the Republican Party. \u201d<\/p>\n<p>In another set of clips Lemon said, \u201cRepublicans are doing something that is very dangerous for our society\u201d and \u201cThere is no reason to believe the Republicans are going to start playing fairly and are going to start operating as a party of sanity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou voted for the person who the klan supported,\u201d he added in another clip. \u201cYou voted for the person who Nazis support. You voted for the person who the alt right supports.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lemon continued in more clips, \u201cYou have to stop demonizing people and realize the biggest terror threat in this country is white men,\u201d and, \u201cWe have to stop coddling people when it comes to this and the vaccine saying \u2018oh, you can\u2019t shame them.
