He\u2019s been to the border,\u201d Jean-Pierre <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/white-house-claims-president-biden-has-been-border-despite-no-record-any-visit\">claimed<\/a> without evidence. \u201cAnd since he took office \u2014\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Washington Post previously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/2021\/10\/22\/biden-said-hes-been-southern-border-before-it-was-drive-by\/\">fact-checked<\/a>\u00a0a claim from Biden about visiting the border and found that he only went once during \u201ca brief drive-by\u201d while \u201con a campaign swing in 2008.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Doocy immediately interjected and asked when Biden went to the border, to which Jean-Pierre responded, \u201cSince he took office, the \u2014 President Biden has been taking action to fix our immigration system and secure our border.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut, you know, that \u2014 we\u2019re not seeing that from Republicans,\u201d she deflected. \u201cWe\u2019re not seeing a willingness to work with us on \u2014 on, you know, fixing a situation that\u2019s been around for decades now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInstead, they\u2019re \u2014 they\u2019re doing political stunts,\u201d she claimed. \u201cThat\u2019s what they want to do.
