At the PGA Championship, Woods withdrew after shooting 12-over through three rounds, and he missed the cut at The British Open after shooting 9-over.<\/p>\n<p>Woods, who has won 15 career majors, was noticeably hobbled in those tournaments.<\/p>\n<p>One illustration of how much Woods\u2019 mobility was impacted was that he switched from wearing Nike shoes, which he\u2019s endorsed since he came on the scene as a teenager in the 1990s, <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/05\/17\/tiger-woods-sticking-with-footjoy-shoes-over-nike-at-pga-championship\/\">to sporting FootJoy shoes.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Match and PNC Championship are both exhibition events. In the former, Woods is competing alongside Rory McIlroy against Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas on Dec. 10. In the latter, which begins Dec. 15, <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/11\/25\/tiger-woods-son-charlie-to-return-to-pnc-championship\/\">Woods will team up with his son Charlie <\/a>for a second straight year.
