That highly partisan group <a href=\"https:\/\/thepoliticalinsider.com\/pelosis-january-6-committee-subpoenas-four-trump-aides\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">issued subpoenas<\/a> to four former aides to President Donald Trump in late September of 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Schiff <a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/adam-schiff-january-6-committee-witness-testimony-cb094b7c-6cb5-42bd-997d-fcf8e7035145.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">warned at the time that<\/a> the panel was \u201cprepared to go forward and urge the Justice Department to criminally prosecute anyone who does not do their lawful duty.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" comments about subpoenas of Trump allies, Representative Stephanie Murphy (D-FL), another member of the January 6th committee, said US Marshals may be utilized to round up and arrest those who ignore the process.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have engaged with a wide variety of law enforcement offices, including the U.S. Marshals, in order to issue the subpoenas,\u201d Murphy said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/capitol-riot-investigators-engaged-with-us-marshals-to-find-subpoena-resisters\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in an interview<\/a> with MSNBC when asked about anyone who fails to comply.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will use everything, as you said, with all due respect, we will use all of the agencies and all of the tools at our disposal to issue the presented lies to the American people as if he had classified information that pointed to direct collusion between Trump\u2019s campaign and Russia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think there is direct evidence in the emails from the Russians through their intermediary offering dirt on Hillary Clinton as part of what is described in writing as the Russian government effort to help elect Donald Trump,\u201d Schiff said during a CBS interview in March of 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Schiff would also claim that he had \u201cmore than circumstantial evidence\u201d of collusion.<\/p>\n<p>None of that has been forthcoming.
