He continued and said, &#8220;you use lockdowns to get people vaccinated.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Many of the recent protests were spurred by the deaths of at least 12 people in a Urumqi apartment building fire. The residence, located in the Xinjiang region of the country, was sealed shut by CCP officials to stop the spread of Covid and when a fire broke out, those citizens were burned alive. That served as the inciting incident for citizens rising up in protest Sunday resulting in growing tensions between the CCP and its people.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><\/blockquote>\n<p>Fauci was an advocate of <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/flip-flop-fauci-falsely-claims-he-had-nothing-to-do-with-school-closures\">school closures<\/a> while speaking from governmental leadership roles at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease and the National Institute of Health.<\/p>\n<p>Fauci has also <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/watch-fauci-says-we-really-should-still-wear-masks-indoors\">lobbied for wearing multiple masks,<\/a>\u00a0despite evidence contradicting their efficacy. He has also pushed for <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/fauci-says-covid-19-vaccine-mandate-for-school-children-a-good-idea\">vaccine mandates<\/a>, all in pursuit of reducing covid transmission to zero.<\/p>\n<p>In its attempt to reach &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/chinas-largest-iphone-plant-forced-under-covid-19-lockdown-following-mass-protest\">zero-Covid<\/a>,&#8221; communist <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/is-chinas-progress-on-coronavirus-real\">China<\/a> resorted to tyrannical and authoritarian measures, locking down citizens and instituting <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/26-million-people-in-lockdown-in-shanghai-under-ccp-covid-restrictions\">brutal restrictions<\/a> on movement. Under China&#8217;s &#8220;zero-COVID&#8221; policy, anybody who tests positive for the virus anywhere in China must be separated from all non-infected people, including family members, with no exceptions. This includes isolating children from their parents if they test positive and parents or guardians don&#8217;t.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><\/blockquote>\n<p>In September, Fauci said the US government <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/fauci-declares-government-botched-certain-aspects-covid-19-response-as-he-heads-to-retirement\">&#8220;botched&#8221; and poorly executed &#8220;certain aspects&#8221;<\/a> of the Covid response, such as masking, an issue he advocated against and then for.<\/p>\n<p>Republican Senator Rand Paul from Kentucky has promised to investigate Fauci for his Covid policies. The two have clashed on several occasions, as Fauci <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/watch-tucker-carlson-slams-fauci-for-lying-under-oath-after-emails-revealed\">lied to Congress<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/dr-rand-paul-says-fauci-should-be-in-prison-for-lying-to-congress\">multiple times<\/a>, including concerning the possibility that Covid was man-made. Sen.
