crisis\u201d and advance \u201cenvironmental justice\u201d and is asking the public for ideas on how to spend it, according to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/epa-help-spending-13b-environmental-justice-climate-crisis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fox News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The funds give people \u201cthe unprecedented opportunity to make lasting progress to equitably protect people and the planet from air pollution and climate change,\u201d said Joseph Goffman, principal deputy assistant administrator rel=\"noopener\">Biden\u2019s HHS Giving $4.5M to Train on \u2018Implicit Bias\u2019<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In seeking the public\u2019s input, he added, \u201cWe are eager to engage with all who have a stake in the success of these efforts, and our next steps will be guided by the wisdom and experience from the conversations we have and the feedback we receive over the next several months.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.epa.gov\/air-and-radiation\/inflation-reduction-act-non-regulatory-dockets-public-input\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The EPA\u2019s website\u00a0<\/a>calls the money \u201can historic amount of funding\u201d and seeks input through Jan 18, 2023, about six different grant programs, including how to spend money on climate pollution reduction, transportation programs, reducing methane emissions, addressing air pollution, low emissions electricity, and more.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s $50 million\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/epa-spends-50-million-air-monitoring-marginalized-communities-biden-spending-bill-funds\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dedicated for air monitoring<\/a>\u00a0in \u201ccommunities that are underserved, historically marginalized, and overburdened by pollution\u201d funding 132 air monitoring projects in 37
